I was trying to mortgage my property for some cash and one “associate” from SBI took INR 90,000 from me on the pretext of one fees or the other. He signed a “document” promising to return the money too. In fact, he issued a cheque for half the amount. No surprises, the cheque bounced
It has been one month now and I still haven’t got my money back. I don’t know what to do.

File a complaint with SBI in case he's a real employee, file police complaint also
I went to a police station. Of course was shunned away. Apparently, I need to know the exact area the culprit resides in to lodge a complaint.
