Switch from Deloitte USI to Accenture India. Is it a wise decision ?

Hi All,

Recently I got an offer from Accenture ( Kolkata location) in Data & AI vertical. I was interviewed in tech stacks like GenAI, AI&ML. Currently I am working in Deloitte USI and have around 6.5 yrs of experience. I am up for promotion as well but my promotion was denied this year. Not sure what will happen next year.

I want to know how's the project in this vertical and job security, wlb in Accenture. Also in the offer letter variable component is mentioned from 0-27%. How's the variable scenario in Accenture. Need your honest opinions. Accenture is giving me 25LPA fixed. Is it a wise option to switch?

Thanks in advance.

Accenture is a very toxic company filled with only politics and bullies. It doesn't have a wlb. Zero wlb. If you're happy with your current company and have a decent wlb then I wouldn't suggest you to join Accenture. There is a lot of struggle for promotions and always the non deserving ones get it. Each and every time. It has very very bad leadership. If you're looking for a salary increase I would suggest you to look for other MNCs. The salary increase that you're getting in Accenture isn't worth the mental pressure, work load and zero wlb that you'll get here.
