Yes, we should all work 70 hours a week so shareholders can make 70 millions a week and then at the first sign of trouble they can lay off 700 employees a week πŸ˜‚

Real Meanwhile employees in the US have run out of fucks to give and don't even bother putting in 2 weeks notice. They quit instantly This buddah should be thankful people even turn up to work

If this was said by some firm paying its freshers 30+ lpa ctc, I would probably let it slide. Infosys still pays 3.5 lpa in the lowest tier of engineering colleges and he has the audacity to ask 70 hours of work from those folks! Bhai CTC bhi 70 hours ke hisaab se dena fir

If Narayan Murthy had a role in the Gladiator he would be:

Pontificus Maximus, commander of the Catamaran, loyal servant to the Infosys stock, father to a jobless son, husband to a storytelling wife.

I’ve been an Infy employee for ~5 years and I see how much they β€œwalk the talk”. NRN has done some pretty great things, but the reality is his company is just a basic IT sweatshop where they do a shitload of malpractices and try to justify with their β€œC-Life @ infosys” bullcrap.

I’d say, work however much you wanna work. If you feel you’re compensated fairly beyond your normal work hours, then do so. If you wanna work on your own gig, by all means put in the hours.

But, never even for a second clock in 1 additional minute for these corporate sycophants who can’t even pay their employees a decent livable wage well even in 2023.

Delusional to think working more hours results in better results. But that's the Infosys way, gotta bill the client for more hours for substandard patchwork.

That's not just the Infosys way but the Service Sector way in general.

Delusional to tum bhi Ho. No service company can bill their us/europe clients for more than 8 hours a day per fte. They are asked to work more because without it they will miss the project deadline and there would be delays. The billable hours committed would still be the same for the deadline if an fte works for 8 hours or 12 hours. The customers get a discount for the work put in beyond the deadline.
