Truth behind such posts
Often on LinkedIn we have encountered such posts which say x company has y opening, drop your email and I will DM you referral link/mail you z stuff, etc. A question always arises in my mind, DO THESE PEOPLE LEGIT MAIL/DM STUFF??? OR IS IT JUST ATTENTION SEEKING STRATEGIES OR SIMPLY FRAUDULENT WAY FOR GETTING EMAILS???
There are always two sides.
However I don’t think dropping mail is ever good enough to decide whether a candidate fits certain roles.
It feels like an engagement gathering activity.
Scam. If anyone says, X company has Y opening, directly go to that orgs career page & verify first. Then DM any employee on LinkedIn to get referral.

Has anyone observed this ?
I am seeing lots of jobs post on LinkedIn from various companies and when u apply to them there is no call back or any update from them. I am now like confused if those post are even true or not? Anyone face/observe this
