If it's star health insurance, I recommend you start looking around and port out. Too many stories of claim rejections with Star.

Have taken Care (Religare) Insurance for mom 10 lakh cover at some 27k annual and Star Health Top Up along with it

I had taken from Max Bupa, but that was an additional insurance, so the premium was pretty less with 40 lakhs coverage. As pointed out by Undercover, best to consult with folks at Ditto.

On the same lines, if parents have underlying health conditions, and are senior citizens, not only the premiums would be high, there will be waiting periods too. How that can be managed?
