swiggy continues to silently layoff
PIP on the raise at Swiggy, saw couple of post with good fellas leaving. can someone confirm or deny this fact that PIP is used a weapon to downsize the teams in order to show profit for upcoming IPO next year?
There was a time swiggy was known for good leadership. Where are all those good people? I see PIP, depression, harassment, layoff posts from Swiggy off late. What’s is going on?
I was in swiggy but was laid off. Spoke to couple of folks yesterday, they are wanting out. People are expected to work for more than 13 to 14 hrs while handing out 5% appraisal. 2018-2019 the leadership was very good an it felt like a hustling company. Post COVID so many things changed because of a couple of folks high up that most people felt it was better to leave. It became more toxic.
Absolutely, 2018 to 2019 was a golden era for Swiggy and heard very talented and good leaders were there and I wanted to join during that time, unfortunately couldn’t clear the rounds. I remember some Sr. EMs and Directors were excellent and had great reputation across start up industry.
