Is it just me or we Bois are really afraid to talk to girls about our feelings

If you have been talking to someone for some time now and you want to find out whether that person actually likes/care about you or are they just going with the flow? then just pretend to be sick or mood off for one day, be vague about the reasons behind your behaviour. The way that person texts/call you and the way that person handles you that day would tell you more than enough. If that person is busy talking to others or is not interested in you, they won't care much about how you feel, they won't try to help you, you will get your answer. Although it's not that straightforward, you are smart enough to figure it out. PS: don't try to take advantage of their emotions though, it's a sensitive topic, don't be an as*hole.

I will keep it short. So I know this guy who goes to the same gym as me, The dude always looked kinda lonely so I would often greet him good morning or howdy, However, I never got a chance to sit and talk to him as he always seemed in a rush, Yesterday, I saw him talking to one of those E-Girls on Instagram in the locker room, you know the ones which offer sexual video calls in exchange of a few thousand rupees, I unintentionally read the chat while he was reaching out for his sipper, And I saw "I dont want to have sex, I just want to talk to a real woman about my mental issues" something While this sounded absurd and funny to me in the first moment of reading it, It left a resounding wave of abyss in me. On how some people could be extremely lonely , and all they need is a hug !!!! While his actions may not be the most mature of all, I do recognize this feeling. Afterall, Duniya mein bohot gamm hai, Apna dukh toh fir bhi kam hai.

Fathers, brothers, friends- they will be happy cheerful jolly one day and next day silence! Won't share what's bothering them If we ask too many times, then we are termed as nagging

Why do people on this platform assume a generic username to be a man? (if the username doesn't give the gender away)

Was speaking to two of my friends (from GV) on this topic. One was supporting, and one against. As a fellow female on Grapevine, I think it is not necessary. If only we stop treating women as second gender, and just see them as basic humans, a lot of things will change. To let people have a safe space to voice opinions, does not need a secluded room. So many of us are unaware of problems (physical, mental, emotional) others face, this platform does a great job in bringing all at one place.

THE POSITIVE SIDE: Sometimes you kinda eventually develop a soft corner for your therapist (especially if they belong to the opposite gender) due to the following pivotal reasons: 1. They are perhaps the only person you have who "listens" to you and helps you de-tanglenhour thoughts 2. Their tone is pacifying and welcoming. 3. Sometimes when you are venting out, you logical side of the brain takes the back seat and your emotions take over. During such conditions, you end up trusting someone if they are listening to you with an active interest. BUT BUT BUT ! THE APPARENT DARK SIDE: 1. They do all the sweet talk for money. While it may seem like a hard pill to swollow, its just like any other medical profession like cardiologist or radiologist, who wouldnt even look at you if you dont have money. 2. They will obviously judge you and talk about you to their close colleagues or intimate friends. 3. They would want you to BE SAD so that they can get paid. Infact my therapist once clearly said that we only take 20% accountability for everything when I was thanking her (indirectly hinting that if something goes wrong its on me and if something goes right its also on me) Thanks to my therapist I dont even trust my shadow anymore.
