My cook is stealing things, what should I do?

Shifted to Bangalore a couple of months ago, in a flat with 3 other folks It’s been mostly nice, but the lack of cooperation with respect to food is a deep pain point One guy is a vegetarian, another wants to eat unhealthy, someone wants to eat just rice for every frickin meal All in all, as somebody who just wants to eat basic chicken and boiled eggs or just some basic sabzi (oh btw, nobody eats vegetables, amazing) - I’m really caught between a rock and a hard place They’re chilled dudes, I’ve tried to bring it up also, but nobody ever lets anything stick or be followed. Gonna do an intervention tonight, wish me luck folks ✌️ If anybody has experience dealing with flatmates and food, please guide. Am I doing anything wrong?

I have an onshore counterpart, one level above me. We two are setting up the project and conducting workshops. The problems I have are: 1. I work in the B shift from 2 PM to 11 PM since the client is in PST. But i login usually at 10-11 2. My onshore counterpart works in EST but logs in very late. 3. Although I work in the B shift, I often extend until 1 AM because I am preparing all the PPTs and doing research. I have to explain everything I do daily for 2-3 hours. She schedules meetings during the PST afternoon to present that work. 4. It has been 2 months of the same routine. In every weekly stand-up, she gets appreciation as if she did the work and research, without giving me any credit. 5. I can escalate the issue, but no one will listen because she has been here for 12 years, whereas I joined a year ago. She has strong networking with the leadership, which I lack. 6. I can ask for release, but I like this project and have provided solutions for some challenging gaps. I feel very bad because I work for 16-18 hours per day. She could schedule the meeting in the PST morning, but she purposely schedules it in the PST afternoon and gets the credit for my work. PS: i saw her creating a transcript to read during the meeting Do people like this really exist? If you have personal commitments, why come to work? Don’t you have a conscience and feel guilty about stealing credit for others’ work? Nowadays, there are many posts related to stopping gender-based reservations. Is it because of situations like this?

Mine's terrible at organising things around the house and his room, leaves food outside on the table at night, leaves lights, geysers on all the time. Sits with his legs on the dining table.

Lets use this space to describe our managers- Mine is so toxic, Has a very sad life though he is married and has one year old baby, jealous to next level,No boundaries! My manager is the most stupidest person I have ever come across in my life. Good managers are leaders on whom you can fall back to when you fuck up! Mine is so toxic that he only wants to take credit of best things done in the organization and everything otherwise he would just put on me. Keep on assigning tasks at odd hours, will msg why is this not done that not done! He has even tried silent treatment with me, as if that would work 😂 I mean he would try to show me that he is so pissed off with me because I choose not to attend his calls in off office hours, or maybe when i choose not to respond to his bullshit. Keeps getting deep into the arses of management. Would be first one to attend any parties and also the last one to leave the vicinity. Sometimes I feel so pissed off when I see people like him not been held responsible for a toxic culture at the workplace and how simply they just get away in a day by putting everythibg else on others. Being on a leadership designation, he is still so much insecure that he would leave no stone unturned to keep me out of the meetings where any achievements or good stuff is being discussed 🤦🏼‍♀️

I recently started a new job. I would like to share some of the experiences I have had with my manager. I am wondering if these are red flags or if I am maybe being paranoid or thinking too much. It was quite difficult for me to get into this company and this job. The company is quite great and I was quite excited but some of the experiences I have had with my immediate manager have made me a bit apprehensive. I would like to share them and hear opinions about it. Here are some things which have happened which I have not liked so far - 1. I speak to a Senior Engineer one day and next day my manager asks me if anyone asked me to speak to him. 2. I shared an insight about a new tool which we can use on a deployment pipeline on the overall pod (under my skip manager). My manager immediately called me and started asking my status update and replied 'Discussing 1-1' in the group to prevent anyone getting visibility of the idea. 3. My manager pings me whenever I go offline and recently he asked me in a passive aggressive way, 'Please monitor your Teams status. It was away for most of today.' I now feel kind of paranoid to never get up as I feel my Teams status is being monitored.

I am fed up of these cooks in the society. Same taste in every food they make. No variety. I want to hire a professional cook/chef. I am ok to pay 15-20k a month for two people 2 meals a day. How to search them? Any recommendations? Any startup who does that? Looking for someone in bangalore

If anyone lives near manikonda and has a cook, can you please help me out?

Recently shifted to blr. I don't find green vegetables anywhere served with roti its always beans, daal, cauliflower or potatoes. Ordering online is too costly. Does anyone know any better options for food? Should I get a maid (please give any contacts) or start tiffin (Need contacts).
