Been over a month I have been laid off. For the first time in almost 4 years I have had no work at all for over a month. Feels a bit good, a bit relaxed from the immense work pressure and toxicity but at the same time lot of pressure with regard to finances, as and more days are passing. Have been taking time out to upskill myself, applied to over 300+ jobs maybe by now. Got call backs from 10-12, interviewed with 5. None of them turned out to be positive yet. Lot of sympathy and empathised content goes on Linkedln but reaching out to people, 1/15 may respond, putting a status, people just write CFBR mostly (hence I totally avoided that).
Any advice, tips, help would be appreciated.
I have a Category Management/Growth & Marketing background.
Try out seed stage companies, few of the teams are actually hiring. Also checkout companies like blissclub, Ninjacart (toxic work culture), solar square they’re hiring
