Good for you. How much does it cost to build a house now-a-days? (excluding land costs)

Thank you. My dad bought a 30x40 site around 20 years back for 2.5lacs , now it costs around 1.5Cr. And for a simple G+2 (ground floor + 2 floors) , the total build cost comes around 1Cr as well (including interior designing).

Hi all, I need suggestions. I am 32 and I have properties worth 3.8cr and my net is 2.7cr. 

I want to sell these properties and retire and live on the returns from fixed deposits.

My expenses are 1 lac a month. I have already invested for my child's education and insurances are covered for upto 75 years of age.

I also have some clients where I work as a free lancer and make 50k per month. I also have mango farm where I get avg 40k  monthly income.

What to do once I retire? Let's say my mutual funds investments have become 1.5 cr now and I have reached retirement age. 1. What kind of investor are you? 
I am an opportunity investor, and I do buy good stocks whenever they are in reasonable valuations. Below are my monthly numbers. 

2. Where’s the majority of your investment portfolio ?
I have three RE investments and one of them has loan. And I’m planning to buy a property in Goa or HP. 

3. What’s your monthly investment breakdown?

1.7L/ Month (approx) 

60k - SIP (mutual funds)
60k - stocks (smallcase, us stocks using vested) 
30k - as opportunity fund, this is transferred to a different bank account 
10-20k - for experimental investments in crypto, nfts, and some trading. This is a new segment and I don’t have much experience in this and that’s why starting small here. 

4. Anything else you want to share? 

I am learning to invest on a daily basis. Reading, videos and podcasts are my sources. Some of my tops picks are Whiteboard finance (Marko), My first Million and Smart Passive Income, finance with Saran, and Akshat Shrivastava.
