Dishing out advice
I have recently stepped out of the intern/fresher phase of my career and often give advice to friends, only because my career is moving at a much faster pace than my peers. I chalk it down to soft skills. Post any queries / doubts / questions, I'll answer them. (There are no dumb questions, but I may respond with dumb answers😊)

No questions, just a piece of advice, brother to brother. If you are the smartest person in the group, you are in the wrong group. If you are already chaning groups and hanging out with ppl better than you, congratulations you are on the right path🤝🏻
Thanks for the advice! I realised this around 5 years back and made conscious efforts to do so. You are right, and I will continue to look for people better than me!
Congratulations on your great pace of career growth!
A piece of advice - the way you worded your post could rub some people off the wrong way. They might perceive it to be yet another braggy post - and rightfully so since Grapevine is full of people bragging. If your intentions are good, don't be disheartened and keep helping out.
Welcome to Grapevine :)
Thank you! And for the advice! I wanted to say that I am nothing special and only because my career (which again isn't 100% in my hands) growth is why people come to me for advice - but I also knew the wording wasn't great. Kind of did this on purpose.. but nice to see people treating this sensitively.
How do you reckon your career is moving faster than your peers
They are struggling to find offers and I was lucky and hardworking enough to land multiple above market rate offers. My degree was very niche and no company is looking to hire us. Compared to others who have gotten hired on pure merit, my position, package and responsibilities are much higher than my peers. I don't approach the people who come to me for advice, they come to me. I understand the tone here is very braggy but I really don't know how else to say this. Being anonymous helps!
