What's the best way to avoid paying so much tax

As the title suggests, I'm a lawyer and good at what I do. Haven't got anything better to do, so AMA. Very happy to assist startups and young businesses as well!

So this is something that I have been researching for a while, apart from very well known instruments such as-(only mentioning the ones that should be done by everyone irrespective) * 1.5L annually through 80C * 50k standard deduction * HRA claim * Donation claims * Insurance/Medical claims How are you folks optimising your post tax income? Would really like to hear it from people getting >= 24 LPA fixed, since from this point onwards a major chunk (almost 20% goes in taxes) and it really hurts.

Guys... I made some good decisions and ended up having an opportunity to pay myself 36 LPA but, that means, about 9.4LPA tax. What do I do? I want to get a home loan so keeping a higher salary would make the banks happy but then I also lose almost half of it to taxes. Any advice from high earners and other fellow startup founders?

I am working as software engineer at FAANG. I pay ~1.25L income tax per month. It pains me a lot. Since being general class male, I never got any benefit from but these govt is looting me. There are many small shopkeeper, landlords, farmers who earn more than me but none of them is paying tax but here I am paying such huge tax like loser. What should I do? Should I move abroad where even though I will still pay 30% tax but still I will have more money than being in India, or should I open a shop like of clothes, or chai?

I had joined new org in July 2022 last year and had submitted my previous org form16 and salary slips with monthly tax deductions shown in them. Now today my tax consultant informed that since I had not submitted form 12b to new employer, the 250000 basic exemption has been counted twice and now I have to pay 30 percent of 250000 ie approx 80000 rupees!! I don’t understand this as I was under impression that each monthly tax is being deducted and there is now way there can be shortfall in my tax deduction. Please help me if this correct or incorrect and if it’s mistake on my part any way to reduce penalty.

I just want to vent out! Many businesses are earning double than me and paying less than 50% of tax and yet here I am as a professional bound to pay tax. And that’s not enough, I still can get audited!

It's that time of the year when you wonder why you need to pay so much taxes for the facilities and infra that you get. What are the genuine and not so genuine ways to save taxes?

I am joining new org with 17LPA, I just got to know that my tax slab will be 30%. I never had to think about it for last 2 years because i was with 3.75LPA since 2 years when my career began. How should i start to reduce my taxable income? I watched various yt videos and spoke to some close acquaintances but im not able to understand how to proceed
