Women of GrapeVine, how do you handle an emotional rejection ?

This is coming from a guy I know you dont get asked this question as most people assume that you have more options than men so its easier to make the switch. But having options "may" not always make things easier. Every bond is different. And most mature women never go for temporary validations (rebounds, intoxications etc) Would love to hear about the triggers that follow, and their respective coping mechanisms Open up ladies !!! Well honestly it's hard, but I believe that no matter how difficult it gets never choose another person to move on with your life. Don't break someone's heart so you could heal yours .There are times when in a fight men choose not to communicate, that's what hurt women like anything, like learn to talk it out with her ..that silent treatment from a man really breaks a woman, and that sometimes men wouldn't even put effort to see what's hurting us and maybe that's why alot of women would cite a lack of understanding in their respective relationships. So when you a woman gets her heartbroken it's better she stays by herself rather than looking for a rebound cuz that will only mentally destroy her

@Sofetch About that silent treatment thing, its the worst. The other person keeps blaming themselves for the agony and keeps suffering while the person who has given the pain flocks free. Its similar to holding a heavy utensil without knowing its application, and the utensil just keeps on getting heavier and you have absolutely no clue as in why did this happen to you. But here is the thing, Kind hearts suffer the most But kindness always wins

Have had two rejections, early in life (before and during graduation) I was teenager or just crossed teenage, and we look our worst at that time (atleast we cannot expect then), confidence is shitty This developed as a coping mechanism that I leave before anyone can leaves me - romantic, friendship, even work (that one layoff was not handled well emotionally) The only downside to this, which is also huge, I cannot mentally stay attached to someone, the constant fear of being left or been rejected has me on my toes.

Why is it that some men show too much interest in you for initial few weeks, like asking for ig and then ig messages. Seeing your stories just about the instant you post it. They tell you about their last break up they can't get over with but still tell you that falling in love is the most beautiful part of life and talk about wanting to settle down - until the time you show interests and hola!
