Dating app sucks!!!

I am writing this post to understand the pros and cons of different dating apps from the customer side point of view.

Saw an acquaintance using bumble. The men in profiles literally look highly successful, From IIT, IIM, NIFT , Founder and what not. It was really raining overqualified guys on the platform. Felt like real waste for the first time and thought that hot shot guys like them couldnt land a date, a commoner is out of question. What do you all say guys ???? That platform instantly makes me introspect where I failed in life.

Which dating app works in Bengaluru? I am an average looking guy and single. Honestly just wanna like company of someone. I tried bumble and tinder but not getting matches (both premium). I don't know why. Feeling a lot lonely nowadays.

the purpose of dating apps is not to find you a partner, but to ensure you keep using it and pay for their products as long as possible that's how they are engineered, intentionally. why would they let their paying customers go away ?

What started as an Instagram-inspired social experiment has turned into a startup idea. Our generation has moved on from orthodox thinking (baring few people) to more emotional compatibility 2. Men have more worldly expectations, while women seek spiritual features; none are right/wrong as long as they find each other. 3. Very glad that no one 'expected' the partner to take up gendered roles as dictated by society So, coming to the matchmaking platform. The idea is to have all aspects of life considered - personality, profession, family, demographics, physical attributes, etc. and have a weighted scale against them. Though I have my doubts here 1. An Introvert will need an extrovert to seek them but will be drained of social battery later. How do they match? 2. Physical attributes pull down people who aren't confident with their looks; that doesn't relate to how good/bad they are as partners. But without pictures, it will be a risky surprise element. 3. Prevent parents from creating accounts on children's behalf. Probably a social media log-in Share your thoughts on the compatibility algorithm and the problems we may face. P.S. Hi I’m an above average looking and average height guy. I’ve been looking out for a serious relationship for years now and it really sucks. I mean career wise, I’m doing great. I’ve a stable career with a good car and my own house. Something that women consider for serious relationships turning into a marriage. I’m also very religious, super good at heart, loyal, caring basically too good to be true. I’m so loyal that I stop looking at other women even at talking stage. Send flowers randomly etc etc. Now the problem is, apparently if you don’t play mind and manipulation games, or basically be toxic, you won’t get a good partner. Not only me i know many men who are good at heart being played by such women. Why are you lying girls?

Like i bought bumble premium for 200rs and my profile was complete for almost 80 percentage. Still not even a single woman matched with me. Well dating app gave me insecurity 💀
