Should I accept the offer or let it go?

I’ve been laid off dew days ago for cost cutting. My current TC is ~30LPA with 4 Years of experience. I’m happy with this TC but now that I’m also switching and seeing current market conditions should I ask for raise over it or just say to match current comp to recruiters?

Hi grapeviners, I got laid off in November. Had no luck getting an offer since then untill now. Recently recieved and offer from this company x. Glassdoor reviews are shit. They could only match my salary. Work from office with strict timings 9.30am to 7pm. According to reviews CEO is a hitler v2. Worst part is they have 3 months notice period. Only seemingly intresting part about this company is its work. Again, not so sure about that. They’re intlo building AI, ML and IOT solutions for companies. Should I join this company and look for jobs or should I keep the offer and try for another one? TC: 25LPA YOE: 3y 3m

Context: almost 5 YOE, BTech + MBA both from tier 3. Current CTC 32LPA including variable and retention bonus (24.3 is fixed). I work as an APM in a pharma consulting organisation (which also has a SaaS platform) in Pune. Recently Got an offer from a tier 1 consulting company (not MBB but close enough) for a pretty new role of product + project management for one of their saas tools. The offer is 20% hike on my fixed + variable upto 15% + 2L JB. And it’s in Mumbai which is my hometown. I tried negotiating but the hiring manager said this is the best offer they can give. The job role will require infrequent travel to client locations and overall seems interesting. I’m in a dilemma if I should accept or not because the brand is infinitely better than my current organisation and will open up exit opportunities to MBB. On the other hand my professional growth in current organisation seems stagnant as there is not a lot to learn here but monetary growth has been good. (10-15% hikes every year).

The company I used to work for recently shut down and I just received my first offer from a sizeable unicorn. I am being massively low-balled (20% cut). And on top of it, it's an exploding offer. I have a couple of interviews lined up (they start after May 28th) but at the moment, this is the only offer I have. What should I do? 1. Hard negotiate? Leave the offer on the table if it doesn't work out. 2. Soft negotiate. Get the offer. Interview with other companies and try to get a better offer before joining (feels wrong) Things to consider: - I have 10+ months runway - Last cash comp was 24L at 2.5YOE I'm leaning towards 1.

I have 2 options, either to take a 40% pay cut or leave the company (get laid off), what should I do? Would taking that high pay cut will lead to negative impact for my next employer? How does companies/hr takes this while hiring?

I have got very less hike and my ctc is below market/company standards, so should I talk to my skip manager for raise or just switch to a new company, I’m worried about recession and layoffs. Yoe: 4

Hello everyone, Wanted opinion on the following offer I received right now from an ed-tech startup in gurgaon. My experience, 1YOE UiUx, Place- Delhi Current Salary 5.04LPA (All fixed and 5 day week office) What they are offering is 6LPA (90% fixed, 10% variable - based on performance, to be paid every quater, alternate saturday working) And I'll have to shift to gurgaon for the job. Is the offer good or what should I negotiate. I have to confirm it soon, since they want me to join by monday.

I recently got a decent offer. Recruiter asked me whether I want to wait for other potential offers before signing but I decided to sign as I thought that the market is bad and I might not get another offer. Later I realised that I was lowballed in terms of cash compensation. Right now, I have been shortlisted for 2 more companies that pay very well and I think I can crack those offers. The thing is, I like the first company a lot as their interview process and interviewers gave me a good idea of their work culture. Ideally, I would want to join them but I also think that I can get a much better package, potentially 2x in terms of cash compensation. Current offer in hand (good company): 18LPA fixed + 50LPA RSU vested in 4 years Potential offers(decent company/ layoffs happened/happening): 25-35LPA fixed + RSU I was also thinking that maybe I can go back to the first company after getting an offer from the second one and ask them to increase their initial offer or match it with the new one. Any views viners?

Few questions: 1. a lot of companies are hiring through crewscale, etc. they are offering low salary as per the role. are companies paying low salary to them or they are taking a big cut? do people treat them differently once they join a company via crewscale? 2. I am not able to get my resume shortlist for mncs. what to do now? recently my friend got a call from razorpay gehy were offering for sde role 15 lakh for 2 years experienced. they were paying 22 lakh for sde 1 last year. the role is not product engg or solution ennggg that they recently introduced for low salary. it was sde role. fat rhi h ab. kya kru?????? my exp: 2.5 backend

I got three job offers for SDE2. I accepted the offer (30LPA) with the lowest pay but loved the interview process, loved how they didn't waste my time (offer rolled in 2 weeks). Even their Google reviews and Glassdoor has 5 stars. Early stage startup, but they have a tech product with a very bright future (seed funded). And culture is amazing, founders are bright. Second offer was from a mid-sized fintech startup (series C funded). Offer was for 34 lakhs. The interview process was okay but that set me off was that they wanted to conduct another design round after my final Hiring Manager interview as their team categorised my interview as "Weak Hire". They even told me that to my face. 😂 I cleared the subsequent design round but the whole process was lengthy (1 month). Third offer is from an AI company with horrible glassdoor reviews. They took 2 months of time to finish the entire interview process. Even the product doesn't seem like it will survive in next 4-5 years. Offer from them is 42 LPA. I got laid off a couple of months ago, so instead of higher pay I went to the company where I could learn more, get good peers, and increase my skillset. I hope that this decision makes sense. I tried to negotiate with Company A but they were unwilling to go beyond 30, I did mention I have other offers which are higher. I didn't include the joining bonus and ESOP components in all companies, but they are there.
