Adulting 101 : identifying communication types

In an online world, we may tend to forget not everyone likes to live online. Don't text a caller, don't call a texter. And do neither with someone who prefers in-person communication. Applies to work as well as personal relationships equally. Try to determine what kind of communication the other person prefers. From my experience, gen z and millennials mostly prefer texting. The rest prefer IRL communication. Is your dating app match non responsive on text? Make plans to meet. Is your boss more of a talker IRL? Schedule in-person meetings. Figure out their mode of communication and use that to your advantage. Don't ask others to adjust to your method of communication, they rarely will. If the person is important to you, make that extra effort. It'll be worth it :) Hope it helps ✌️
