An observation
Is it just me or all autowalas have intentionally started speaking in only kannada after that viral video? Today an autowala in the morning started teaching me kannada and asking me how much kannada i know. I spoke a few sentences, i was thinking had i not uttered those he would have definitely given me a lecture.
It's not an outsider or insider thing. It's more how accommodating the people of Karnataka have been.
Even though it's not our mother tongue we try to learn Hindi, but the same is not reciprocated. Instead we are constantly mocked for our accent, called a "madarasan ". Even the famous Tarak Mehta ka oolta chasma has an aiyaiyo background sound for the South Indian man.
How you feel like shit now, we have felt constantly.

Tarak mehta also has a gujju guy with an accent and is a constant target of jokes. Not defending anyone here, just that not just one state is stereotyped.
Of course, not saying Karnataka is only being stereotyped. But everyone has to fight their own battles. Just because everyone is being stereotyped, doesn't make it suddenly right or something you can ignore

They are just proving what they are worth of... They themselves claim that it is their land and others are outsider , the fact that an outsider is able to come to their land and get a high paying job while they are themselves limited to driving an auto shows how many days they will survive in a foreign land.

Outsider insider kya faltu debate hai. Opportunities can't be distributed equally in a country. There would be a few cities that people will go to. Opportunity creation depends on so many factors. Like you can't expect madhya pradesh or rajasthan to have marine opportunities right.

I hope people stop using this outsider term.

I have constantly felt mistreated because I’m a Hindi speaker and it’s sucks. Anyone know why this bias even exists. This isn’t true in other parts of India I felt

I felt that today, that the autowala was trying to humiliate me for not knowing kannada. I have been in BLR for quite some time now. Their behaviour wasn't like this earlier.
kinda shameful to be honest that this is the situation in one of our top cities
