Yeah so true. People share all sorts of information about their personal, family, dating and what not, and then wonder why they are the center of conversation or gossip. And funny part is they get offended at those who don’t wanna discuss personal matters and call them uptight. These people hardly have a life outside of work!
eh, Idk , I have made some amazing friends, especially at toxic startups where we all suffered together. Still in touch after these many years.
Even now in corporate, if projects are different then its all cool. I share all learning resources, subscriptions, logins etc. I feel I grow only when my peers are growing

I was very friendly in the initial days of my first job and due to that nature of mine I had to go through lot of mental stress and betrayals people give. I was blamed for things I was not responsible for. I understood people only become friendly when they need you. All these realisations made me understand this ki not everyone is your friend in your workplace. This statement is apt.
Even in the work place , be the game changer, even I am also gone through this phase

Days are getting worst, these days we can't believe even a single person from the workplace, don't know what they might be doing or saying on our back. Stay Alert stay Aware
One exception, in first company as a fresher u can form long term friendship especially among ur batch

Gone are the days when you can trust your colleagues. That was our parents' generation...but not today...we can't trust people easily. Although I am lucky to have a few handful people who I can trust and I'm thankful for their mentorship!
