Bloodbath everywhere, was Vijay Shekhar right all along?

9 out of 10, AI startups I have seen are pretty much sham or waiting to get eaten alive by OpenAI or Anthropic. It is obvious that the bar for entry level jobs is going to be much higher now that most elementary tasks can be done faster using AI. But don't let that fool you into thinking that all AI startups are going to change the world. Most are grifters and scamsters trying to fool wither you as a user or some unsuspecting VC. janhit mei jaari

Pls Don't kill me for this. I like Paytm over other apps. It works as a single point for everything I need, be it UPI, CC payment, movies, events, travel, investment and what not. Is AI to be blamed for this or their Paytm Bank Ban? I like Paytm as an App but I wonder why it's not going well with them. Can't they save changing Management or core values? Let me know your thoughts.

No alerts, no plan of action, no major statements in the media. Am I missing something or is this just plain, terrible governance.

Been seeing a lot of articles by the publication praising google's gen AI model - Gemini and the strategy around it. Articles heavily implying doom is just around the corner for Open AI because Gemini is going to kill it. I firmly think Open AI currently has a huge headstart, and is the model of choice for devs as well as general folks and google (where i also work) has a lot (A LOT!) of catching up to do. Does anyone get the same sense from their articles?
