I am new to this corporate and currently serving my notice period. I had requested an early release as it's impossible for me to work because of personal issues. I was denied the early release by my HR and director on the grounds on business loss and stuff. Now when I am not available, I inform my manager that I will not be available. Now he is asking to my apply for leaves. So my doubt is, if I apply the leaves, will it extend my LWD?

I have recently put papers in my current company, which I was part of for more than 8 years. Notice period is 1 month. Also, My wife is currently in her 9th month of maternity, and I want to spend time with her. Also, I need to take the paternity leave of 5 days during notice period. Will they allow it? My company has a policy of 3days a week compulsorily coming to office. Can I skip the that during notice period? What is the worst that could happen? Will they not give the relieving letter? This is my first switch, and not sure about the process. My managers were pissed that I chose to quit here, and are not that supportive now.
Any suggestions would greatly help.

Hi. Does anyone know if taking a sabbatical during pregnancy can lead to the company using this as a reason of non-performance to either fire the women or not provide her with the maternity leave benefits?

Context
1. Company is aware that the person is pregnant
2. Person in question has been with the company for 2+ years
3. Past appraisal ratings have been 'Exceeds Expectations' or 'Meets Expectation'
4. Sabbatical period could be 1-2 months. Maternity leave will not immediately start after the sabbatical

If not leaves, then wfh should be made mandatory for all companies for women 5 days a month. Even leaves should be given atleast 5 extra in a year, for those bad days. What do you think?

I work for a start up and am currently on maternity leave. I am supposed to resume my work from the 2nd week of may. And My husband has to move to a different country for work. He is moving early next month.

So I will have to take care of some of his responsibilities here, while he is away from home. Having a 6 month old baby and my father in law to take care of as well. I have decided to take a break from my career and sort things out. Once my husband settles down, we will move there and then I'll start looking out for opportunities.

Now the question is, since I'm resigning during maternity leave and the project has no dependency on me. Can the manager or HR ask me to serve the notice?? Or will I be given an immediate release?

Hey guys,

I'm on notice period and I left my job because of the bad conditions and unhelpful team and messed up mental health. I have 2 months notice which started 3rd july

I wanted to know can the company do anything if my performance in notice period is bad. Basically if I get the work, I'll try to deliver but 8 won't be messing up my mental health if I'm not able to deliver.

I plan to simply say that, sorry i tried but I'm not able to figure it out. If someone helps me its fine and if not then I'll continue to say it.
