Correct me!
I don’t understand things about service based companies. They train their employees on certain tech stack and put them into a project writing test cases (Functional and E2E test cases).
Why don’t they just hire someone with testing as a requirement! Are they exploiting their employees.

Okay understood your points!
Let me know, if this is the thing then how come an employee mention the same when it comes to answering, if they’re switching and asked about their role in previous company
New companies don’t bother about that.
They are looking for an person who has X,Y skills.
If we could not develop these skills in work hours, better to build them in our personal time.
We are a single person company and let’s optimize for our growth.
Let’s take responsibility for our career.

Thanks for your time! Have a good day.
Business is about utilising people’s time to create value.
Hence it is common for orgs to use our time even if we are trained in a different tech.
Hiring is costly and every employee added means additional recurring costs.
That’s the nature of orgs. Utilise people ‘s time to the max.
Tomorrow when you become a manager or lead and when you incentives are set to utilise people’s time you are highly likely to do the same.
