🚨 Delhi Metro changes 🚨

- Delhi Metro will begin operations at 4 am on all lines from terminal stations on Independence Day to facilitate public attendance at the ceremony.
- Trains will run every 15 minutes until 6 am, after which the regular schedule will resume for the rest of the day.
- Individuals with a bonafide invitation card from the Ministry of Defence can enter and travel by showing a valid government-issued photo ID at stations.
- This special entry arrangement is valid for exits only at Lal Quila, Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk metro stations, and the same cards can be used for return journeys from these stations.
- Regular announcements will be made inside trains to inform passengers about these arrangements, with travel costs reimbursed to DMRC by the Ministry of Defence.

Rapido to Electrify Entire Bike-Taxi Fleet in Delhi by Next Year

Last year, I was travelling via the Metro towards Sikanderpur Station on the Yellow Line. As I was about to reach Qutub Minar station and the metro was as usual crowded. I had onboarded at Delhi Haat - INA, so no seat for me.

Suddenly the metro abruptly stopped and someone started screaming. The inertia was so much that people literally lost balance and fell over each other.

I am super confused because it almost felt like we got hit or something. The announcement speaker goes live and the metro driver asks "Haan kya problem hai?"

Then on the same line
Amidst this chaos we heard the announcement speaker. It was the driver. He asked, “Haan kya problem hai?”

Then we all heard some lady say that Ladies Coach mei AC nahi chal rha. Man, I wanted to give that woman a tight slap right across her face.

On the next station the station security was ready and the woman was apprehended.

I realized that day that most people in this country are so dumb that they don't deserve first world amenities and services. Also, dimaag nahi hai zara sa but Confidence ho toh aisa.

What do you think about people who act so entitled on Delhi metro?

Krpuram and baiyapanhalli got connected by metro yesterday and now Whitefielders have good time catching metro without any hassle.

I remember one fine day I was stuck between krpura and bypanahalli for 2h and it's less than 3km.

Hope they complete airport line within stipulated time.

So you think this will curb the Delhi pollution or its just another gimmick before the election.

Recently moved to Bengaluru and the pollution is much more noticeable here. I know all about AQI but that's an average. On the roads and in colonies the pollution is unbelievable especially from buses that are always spewing black smoke. Especially in residential areas, garbage is burned every day.

Am I the only one who finds Bangalore more polluted than Delhi?
