If your feedback is between agree and strongly agree u won't get promoted for sure. U will get the hike accordingly. Coach doesn't gives u promotion. U need to discuss your feedback from your lead/manager n understand y u r getting low rating

They changed my job profile from sap pi po cpi to cpi ds from past 1.5 years and expecting to work as a senior expect me everyone who worked with me all are working in advanced technologies and when i asked for cpi project and rm is giving me only cpi ds projects only which is irrelevant when told the same to coach he is also telling to accept the project what ever i got

It seems you are not valued here. Else they would listen. If not previous year then next. Leave. Find a place where people value you more. Where your needs are given priority. During interview discussions, clearly state that you desire to work in a particular technology which wasn't being offered to you currently. State that as your reason to join the new company. Tell them you have basic knowledge. Maybe do a course/certificate or two relevant to your desired role/tech.

Context - Since Deloitte does not get a lot of projects, they bend over their knees in front of clients and do each and everything like literally peon, clerk jobs too if client asks them to.

I was deployed at a client location 5 days a week and was not giving any specific work to do but was told "Jo client bole wo karna hai". Client was a 24 yr old kid earning 80% lesser than me. He used to hurl abuses in the office, on weekends and even behaved physically inappropriately at times. When I informed the manager, he was like " tumse client handle nahi hora".

Even after raising it to HR, no action was taken and manager also got promotion inspite of being the one aware about everything and not stepping up. I was given way below appraisal than industry and company average and have been pushed aside by the company.

Request help from the community to help me with any openings or jobs in product management role in your company for me to move out of this toxic environment

Deloitte India denied me an offer as I already had one from Deloitte USI. The HR said that given that I already have an offer from USI they can't roll out an offer even though I have cleared all the rounds . What a Joke!
Both the rounds were going on parallel and took over 2 months to complete. How am I supposed to control any of this

When I joined Deloitte few years ago I was so happy getting the breakthrough. However my happiness didn't last long, as this place lacks transperency and the growth opportunities are minimal.
The Technology projects lack vision and the goals are not SMART. Sadly the show is run by few incompetent /selfish PPMD's (Partners,Principals &Managing directors) and a large pool of Vintage employees who are there in the organization since ages, few older than rare trees. These people are so well settled in thier respective comfort zones that even the thought of change will make them uncomfortable.
I really ponder upon this thought daily that does Deloitte really need so many people in USI office(HYD.)
We are around 75K employees here approx.. REALLY!!!!

I am from EY.I cleared the interview at Deloitte. I got a hike of 30% from fixed. Now my manager is saying I am due for promotion for this cycle and I will get promoted with 25-30% hike. Associate consultant to Consultant. Continued down...

Been here for quite some time now and I have been by far the top performer in my team. Still I am making less money year over year because of crap hikes and inflation. The pathetic hike I get barely makes a dent in the mental trauma that this company is inflicting on me. 

Moreover, travelling for hours in the Metro is killing me on the inside. Like being squished between people and getting no seat while I am trying to just switch from Yellow to Magenta line will be the end of me. My life will be spent in this metro and that is so depressing ffs.

My advice to others in Big 4 companies, don't stay at Deloitte for more than 2 years unless you can coast at senior management w/ good pay.

#1 Mistake of my life was joining Deloitte..

Hi All, 
I joined Deloitte in Nov,2023. During my joining i negotiated with the HR regarding the increment of my base pay as it was too less. HR gave me two options, 1. Either take a joining bonus of 50k with the same package, 2. Or be eligible for the next appraisal cycle i.e. april 2024. 

I wondered if my efforts in the project will be recognised or not by the end of april. So i choose to take the joining bonus with the same package. 

The HR has left the firm and i am not sure whom to ask and approach regarding the appraisal query. Will i still be ineligible for an appraisal of even 5-10% this year?

I am currently working in Deloitte USI. Here I need to work for 13-14 hours everyday minimum. I have received an offer from EY around 35% hike. I’ve heard that the work culture of EY is even worse. But anyhow if I have to work for 13-14 hours a day, the why not for a better salary? Can you all please advise?

Long story told short, I have couple of offers: from Deloitte and TCS with salary raise upto 40% from my current CTC. Ofcourse, I had plans to go ahead with Deloitte. 
My current YoE is 3.9Years. And I’ll be joining as an Analyst at Deloitte. (No change in band, im joining entry level position as my current company). 
But, If I complete 4 years of experience, I could move on to next band with significant change in pay slab joining as a consultant. My joining date is nearing, and I’m thinking to defer the offer for now, Try again after few months once I complete 4 years. What do you guys suggest?

I joined a company after getting some bad performance comments from prev company. In my older the reason behind poor outcome was - manager. During my exit, he confessed the same that he wasn’t able to put required time/efforts. Most probably he was one who threw me in front of the bus.  
  
 Joining a new company with that baggage scares the shit out of anyone. I worked hard and delivered something big in first 6 months. The comment from VP levels was - “This is such a turnaround (of a prev lagging product)”. The mail was cascaded to CXOs and org re-initiated focus on the product.  
  
 That day, I gained my lost confidence and decided not to let anyone else control my career.

So I currently don’t have a job. I am interviewing at some places . 2 years exp data engineer.
1st company - 16 base
2nd company (a big American bank/fintech) - 17 base

Now the thing is I want to join 2nd obviously because brand but I think I am being low balled considering it is not the lowest position. It is just 1 above.

What should I do? I have accepted the offer because I really didn’t want to lose it and the HR didn’t agree to increase it even after speaking to her for long.

I gave 2 rounds of interview at Deloitte recently. 3 days later, I got a mail about asking for different documents to submit including payslips. I submitted the documents with in 2 days. But did not received any update from them from last 2 weeks. 

When I called the HR who used to called me for interviews she told we will schedule HR round for you in someday. But when I called her again after someday she told the position is now on hold. What does this mean. Am I not considered now?

I quit Deloitte after 4 years of excruciating pain. Here's why?

The concept of bench will literally kill your confidence the most. If you know how to beg then you will succeed here because if you don't beg for projects then they will definitely lay you off. 

I was always a bright student in college and chose Deloitte because of the brand name but if I had known that once I was hired, I would still have to find jobs every day, I would have never joined this hell. This is utterly ridiculous.

I have now joined an early stage startup which has been the best decision of my life. Deloitte is literally the worst company ever. There were a couple of seniors who used to say the most hurtful shit to me whenever I used to go to the washroom.

These Indian seniors always harass freshers while the American teams are usually much nicer and respectful. Don't throw your youth away in the name of earning a few bucks.
