I don't understand their way at all , they laidoff all 2022 grads 6months back and hired 2023 grads for hiked pay 😅

are there going to be layoffs again in byjus? If yes then in which department?

First, they had a layoff.
Lot of good people quit including great people
Then, they had a second lay off 
Some  great people in the leadership quit.
Middle management people are quitting every day.
Only engineers and other people who are not able to get jobs are remaining 
They shut down majority of US acquisitions
They are trying to sell some of them like Tynkr and Epic
Not able to raise funding till now even though trying since December 
Sales is down 90% 
New Inside Sales process is not working 
They are out of runway.

Byju in his townhall yesterday oversold future and more people will be laid off today. 

It is funny because so many business folks who are adding zero value and doing nothing for years are still there 

Senior engineering leaders who are earning salaries of 2 Cr+ are also still there . Poor low level minions are facing all the brunt

The new head of HR who came from Infy  has been given a mandate to clean up the house and there are multiple people ( still) drawing salaries upwards of 50 Lakh to 2 Cr who have been asked to move out if they have not moved out already .

Internal source: most vps are around the table these days, and too busy to get goats to sack this week.  For Byju's product team, this week is crucial, usual results are out on Friday. ( product, design and media)  45% -50% cut from each team. 

There won’t be any news about Byjus from now on, my wife was the source, and she got laid off today.
