Do you think PM roles should be there for freshers?
I believe that PM roles require much more experience in understanding the product rather than making product teardown as projects which literally anyone can do. I don't see a real skill involved, it's like a person who is a consultant but being overpaid because he is too much involved in the product. It's the startup culture which started. I think Project/product manager roles should be a promotional mark for experienced software developers or analysts.

I m sure people here will advise pm role should not be even there for experienced 🤣
PM role IS NOT an entry level position.
It is mid-level to director level position. I think some senior executive had said this long before the bubble attracted idiots of all colours.
People should work their way up in creating, analysing and delivering value before they can start 'producting'.
Simple as. Snotty nosed brats with zero idea on what to say when a customer is shouting their lungs out at your mistake or an unknown escalation aren't cut out for the pressure in genuine product roles.
