Dunzo lays off 75% of the employees, workforce down to 50.
Dunzo, the hyperlocal and quick-commerce startup, has announced a fresh round of layoffs, impacting 150 employees. With a 75 per cent cut in its workforce, Dunzo will have just 50 employees in its core supply and marketplace teams, according to a report.
I'm not at BlinkIt anymore. It's just the truth anyway. When the tough gets going, it's the baniya businessmen who stand out, not kids swimming in VC cash pools.

Next in line are Zepto, and Blinkit
You salty boy. 😂. Zepto has already mentioned if u they dont expand in new cities, they would be profitable in a year. They are losing money to get market share from blinkit. So good luck.

Isn't dunzo backed by reliance?
Thought they'd have deeper pockets than pushing this into non-existence
Reliance is the major reason they are closing. Reliance when funding had a clause for further raising of funds. They vetoed every time when they tried to raise further. So as founders you need to be vigilant enough about clause you add and type of investors you bring in. Basically Reliance sabotaged Dunzo to buy the tech and other assets dirt cheap

Reliance has done this to many startups i know of. They have a very bad reputation in this. They invest primarily to observe the ecosystem but eventually kill players
holy , there startups layoff quick but have high salary , saw SDE at zepto with 43LPA for freshers
