I am Interning at a very early stage startup in the Growth Team. My stipend is ₹15,000 p/m and the work is decent - community mgmt, content, product gamification & market research. It’s a pre-seed startup so sometimes I feel lack of resources are putting a cap on my abilities to execute. Though, the founder has assured that we’re close to raising pre seed. I am pretty good friends with the Founder and I’ve met him a few times.
Now, coming to the main part of problem - I casually applied for an Internship in a early stage startup but the team is sorted. They have funds and their founding team is super experienced. Stipend offered is 2x of what I’m getting.
I was wondering If I should opt for that? Or, keep my head down and work for the same startup, ignoring the money aspect? Pls lmk folks.

which one would be better to join and how to evaluate:

 fairly old startup (~10 years) with extremely competent folks (Top IITs) VS 2 year old startup in Seed Stage with friendly team but team size <10

getting similar comp but much higher stocks in the seed stage. extremely confused because I think it’ll be similar work life balance in both. don’t know if it’s right time to take risk so early in my career (my YOE: <1)

I also think the work might be hectic in the first than the second. learning curve might be more in the first. from another standpoint, the first company is much more well recognised and more "stable"

also- for folks who have been in the job for a while, how important would it be to stay close to your home eventually? do you feel lonely in cities away from home?

sometimes I feel I should go for stability and other time I feel it’ll be fine at max the early startup will give me atleast one year experience so very confused

Need Help: Mid Stage vs Early Stage Company

I am a final year student. I have an oncampus offer from Tekion (Chennai) which is a 6M Internship(onsite) + FTE offer. The offer is low compared to other standard Tekion SDE-1 offers. 
I also have a offer from an early age web3 startup ($3M seed funding). The offer is an internship(remote) + FTE offer and FTE compensation is almost 1.5x times that of former.

Which company should I join? Will the name of Tekion internship on my resume help me get interviews of other better startups for FTE while applying offcampus?

Established startup vs Early seed Startup

I am not able to decide which one to choose. The Groww internship is guaranteed that if I perform well I will get PPO(15 LPA) and swiggy one is dicy if even it does have PPO. Since only one more month is left for my graduation, taking any of these internships will require me to leave the FTE offer. Any suggestions fellow developers??

I have 8 years of experience working as a software Engineer, i worked for 3 startups in these 8 years, Now I am planning to switch and I have 2 offers one from a seed stage start-up and one from Faang like company. What should I choose. I am more into front end development, pay in startup is 10% less which is not a concern for me. I like working in startups, my only concern is how it will affect me in the long term maybe after 5-10 years.

However, I'm a bit torn between targeting multinational corporations (MNCs) like FAANG and sticking with startups.On one hand, MNCs offer more stability and potentially valuable stock options, which can be more than just paper money. 
So, my question is, should I prioritize learning and growth by staying with startups, or should I also consider the FAANG tag and potential stock benefits? Also Would there be any added advantage when I later interview at some FAANG , after working as a founding engineer for 3-4 years in some startup (given I’ll have to build multiple things from scratch and owning multiple modules). The base package for the offer I hold is roughly equivalent to what FAANGs pay at my level.

Now, getting an offer from a startup. Team of 15-16 people. Pre seed stage startup. Will be building product from scratch. Lots of learning. 
Offering decent hike and since i m part of first team...getting small equity too.

Should I join this offer?

I m confused. But also thinking...it is risky but a lot to learn and growth potential is v high.

Should I join a seed stage startup?

I recently got offer from an early stage startup in banglore. They raised a total funding of $5.19M over 2 rounds.

My offer is 13 LPA + 1 lakh retention bonus
5k per month for commute and health insurance

I have past experience of 2 years working with 2 startups and building apps from scratch for them.

Honestly I'm really confused about this offer, it is for sure better than my previous offer but I'm not feeling satisfied.

Any suggestions guys?

I have been working in Gojek as backend developer for the past 3 years. The work life balance have been very good over these years. Recently due to layoffs there have been reorgs and i have been moved to a team whose work i didnt like much. Also the tech stack and problem statement this team has been solving has bubbled down in terms of complexity. 

I have an offer from a much smaller series A funded startup called kutumb. I have a feeling this place will give me enough opportunities to learn as well as there is around 20% hike. Would the experienced folks suggest the switch or should i just stay put?

Currently on notice period and right now I have two offers.

And one from an early stage startup with team size of 11.
Which one should I choose perks are the same in both.

I am a final year student and will be graduating in may and I am now confused because I have been doing internships now for more than a year, first internship was of 6 months as an backend developer and now second internship is still going on and this March 3 I will complete 8 months here as an ML Intern, and now my current company which is a startup has told that they will think about my PPO when they will raise series A in April may and they have hired many senior engineers and have expanded the than to size of 40 and now I have got an another intern position at an YC startup, so what should I do, should I join there as an intern considering the stipend is same which is ₹45k  per month and it is also remote but the problem is I will be graduating and I don't have a full time offer, I do have skills but still not having an full time offer bugs me, what should I do please? give some advice.

Need Advice, I am confused.

I have been recently trying switch from one fintech company to another but i feel they are low-balling the compensation saying that my YOE aren't enough. 
The first one was a early stage startup and this one is a unicorn. Technically i have only a year of experience if i count my masters and bachelors both but otherwise i have almost 5 years of work experience along with GSoC and leading small teams( 5 - 10). Should i the accept the offer or wait for the company to agree ?

FYI - The difference is almost around 10L between what i am askinf and what they have proposed.

YOE is a myth?

I work for a big corp. ~6YOE. 48L.

The work culture here seems a bit off. Constant pressure to compete and snatch the work and prove oneself. Chaos is being glorified. Onsite team is unresponsive and hiding information. Asking for a KT is being judged upon(expectation is apparently to read through the code). Everyone is trying to earn brownie points by impressing the manage because no one seems to know what to work upon. Technical ability is being looked down upon in the name of domain knowledge.

I switched recently to upskill and grow, but seems like it was a wrong choice.

I’m looking for early stage startups to switch to. I know the current market situation is bad, but I’d take the risk as long as I’m getting to expose myself to good problem statements and less bullshit.

What should I am for?
- A well named startup or company at slightly lower pay?

- A high payed salary from the startup or a company that no one ever heared of...

Example:
Currently I am making 12 LPA as a marketer.
But I am worried about my future as I am finding it tougher to get hired for salary anything above than this. 

How about working at a fancy startup? (meesho, sugar, CRED, etc.) at a lower pay like 10 LPA - will it secure my future? As people prefer to hire ex-employee from these fancy startups. 

Or should I be searching for a 15 LPA or 20 LPA job but from a company or startup that no one ever heard about, adding no value to my CV while working there

TLDR : I've received a job offer from a startup in Bengaluru with a base package of 14LPA. This opportunity came through a connection who holds a senior position in the company. Currently, I'm employed at an early-stage startup with a small team, working on a great product, with a package of 10LPA.

The story behind this: 
I was laid off from my previous company due to their financial issues. At that time, I informed my manager to keep me in mind for any future opportunities. Subsequently, I joined a smaller startup with a 20% increase in salary as a SDE 1. I am happy with my work-life balance and satisfied with my role in building a successful product with a substantial customer base.

Recently, my previous manager, now in a senior position at a mid-sized startup, referred me for a role. Although my second-round interview didn't go perfectly, I've been offered the position based on his positive feedback, and they are offering me a base salary of 14LPA.

I have responsibility in my current company and my resignation will effect their timeline. also i don't want to ruin my connection with my manage also who offered me the new job.

I'm uncertain about what decision to make. Any advice?
