HR Job market

Hi grapevine community. Need your inputs. My sister has done MBA in human resources and has been working as a recruiter. For last couple of months she is trying to switch but there are not enough opportunities out there or she is not getting calls for any of them. She has two years of experience. Folks from Human Resource background, what is the scope of career growth in the industry going forward. Does college background matters when applying for HR positions in reputed MNCs. What can one do to navigate through this. Other question I had was, is it worth exploring other domains out there. Are there vocational courses where one can learn new skill and use that to land a job

I have 3.4 years of work ex in a different domain and now I wish to switch to HR. Quit my job recently and took a break initially. Today I received an offer for an HR internship. However, If I start again from scratch, then I might be earning less. My younger sister who just started her career in HR few months back has a permanent job and I have an internship. It would take me a long time to earn a decent amount. How should I plan my transition now, any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I also thought to prepare for cat and pursue mba degree, however these top colleges charge way too high fees. My mother is a single parent and I wish to earn instead of leaving my internship/job and pursue mba for two years. Any insights here would be greatly appreciated, I'm very tensed. Thanks :)

I have a 2Y 3M experience in the talent (Automotive hiring- Creo, inventor, solidworks, solid edge software)acquisition as HR recruiter with 40% HR generalist activities,

My wife is looking for a job as a HR recruiter/ HR generalist. She has around 2.5 years experience. We will be moving to Bangalore in Feb and she can join as WFO (Hybrid) or WFH.

Is it just me or roles for HR folks in the 0-3 years bracket have completely vanished? All openings I come across nowadays are 4+ YoE. And before one of you says “khud HR ho, khud ko hire karlo” 🫠 - wish it worked like that 🥲 P.S. If you know of any HR roles in your org, let me know, thanks!

Hey folks from some couple of months trying to reaching out with friend connection for HR vacancy but all are being no reaponse once a period there was where i was trying helping them to land a job for them now i am jobless sitting at home applying contacting all for HR vacancies through linkedin naukri indeed but no response. Very disappointing for me not a getting single refer from anyone. Guys if anyone has any opening in his organization whether it is startup or mnc or mid level company plss comment me plss need some favour from grapevine colleagues. I have 1 YOE in HR currently looking for Bengaluru Pune hyderabad and Mumbai location. Plss guys any lead will greatly appreciated. Thanks Sahil

After getting laid off, I have been talking to multiple HRs at different companies but the responses from them have been brutally slow. Are they trying to take advantage of my desperation or is there a hiring slowdown in India (irrespective of the numerous job openings I see everywhere)
