How are you handling the spiralling moments? (which are just too many now)

  • "We will get back to you" over and over again
  • 2YOE getting 95LPA
  • Mom forwarding her friends' married kids pictures (dropping subtle hints)
  • Attracting red flags, where efforts have dried up
  • Movies and shows watchlist growing, but guilt makes us think we are better off working
  • Travel bucket is overflowing
  • Personal projects have sided in a corner, because that ain’t getting anything
  • Age is catching up and money is not

How do you handle all this?! How!

Look back at your life 2 years ago and compare with yourself now. If you feel there is atleast one improvement; could be salary increase or better physical health or better sleep; if atleast one aspect of your life is better then you are going in the right path.

Don't bother comparing with anything else. Your parents or relatives will always pester you even if you are a millionaire and married.

Just like how with money constraints, you have to prioritise fewer experiences but quality and meaningful ones - do it for content consumption too.

Set a high bar for what you want to watch or listen to - I used to be proud of consuming all every other "tech hustler" podcasts by listening at 2.5x speed - but hardly reflected or thought about those ever again. These days listening to fewer ones at 1x speed and also giving time to think on those later in the day/week.

Be in the moment, pay attention, listen like you want to do with the time you have with your loved ones. Use the analogy shared every place in life - is what I do to beat these fleeting feelings.

All is well. You are capable to do things way beyond what you think you can do now. 🤞🏻

  5. Same, take control of your life
  6. Achievable with good planning
  7. Routine and planning to the rescue
  8. Depends on your goals...therapy will help here as well

I guess handling success and failure the same way is best. Heads down and we keep working.

Switching off data and wifi whenever I can Breathing fresh air, or whatever is left of it. (lucky to belong to the sub-Himalayan region) Understood that not everything needs my reaction/opinion, there's no need to put any effort to change others' outlook towards anything Done planning shit anymore, I just do
