How do you deal with people who don't work/ contribute, but will try to take credits, will do bootlicking of manager?

It's impossible to fight the system in a private company. Even if you become successful doing so it usually comes with a price. You could Escalate your concern to senior leadership and seek protection from any possible retaliation. I would say, Instead of wasting your energy in dealing with these people channel your efforts into finding a new role and start making new relationships.
I think no matter what credit others, nothing can hide your actual contribution.. keep doing your good work
When you think you have hit your learning/ growth ceiling in the present company move on.
