How to get into a project. can someone please help me...??

I joined cognizant 2022 since then no hands on experience due to client issues. But I have good knowledge in SQL, Python ,Gen AI, Deep Learning, NLP I love to work on AI / ML ,So I learned all this by my own . I am applying in TMP but the managers are just seeing my message and they are not even responding. If they respond also asking for hands-on how can I get hands-on without any opportunity. In the office also I was like going to everyone and asking if there is any vacancy in their project. It's like begging, I don't feel good. I am trying to apply outside but they are asking for 3 years of experience. I don't have any idea in the software field if I knew this all before I could have resigned before 1.5 years.I was waiting for the projects. Now I don't have any hope . Can anyone help me regarding this?

Hi @CreativeDragonfruit Don't believe this company. They just simple hire people and spoil their career and fire whenever they needed. Yesterday my HR asked me to do self resignation just because I dint get any project after coming back from my ML. Please for god's sake don't believe this company. Search outside and get a job .

Yeah I am trying but even outside they are expecting minimum 3 years experience.

Talk to your batch mates in cognizant and ask the the real-time issues they solved and cofig or code they did. Why , when , and how they did these tasks. And then prep for the interview with the tech knowledge . You should be able to clear and switch company. Real Exeriance does not matter when you can learn from others exp and show it as yours.. this is the fact of life
