I am working in an XYZ company, but I am working in a client location zxy company.
For the past 2 years I didn't get any hike, so zxy company told me we will change the vendor.
But when I am about to resign from XYZ the zxy company HR is saying don't we will recheck with XYZ company. But in the past 2 years XYZ company has promised multiple times like More then 30 times this month your hike will be given but never happened still now.

What I should do now ?

Recently I got hike and I am very disappointed, like first they don't tell me like 1 month ago, how much I will get, I was desperately waiting for it, after having 31k per month, I just got 17% hike, So, please tell me is this fine or I should switch?, because I was handling 5 products of their company alone and I don't think so I deserve this.

Got an offer from LTI as Specialist Software Engineer. I am getting arnd 40% hike on my basic. 

The issue is I am in a stable company with decent WLB and avg hikes are similar to inflation levels. 

Have heard LTI has a bad hike culture and wlb is project dependent. 

My only good thing is a NP of 30 days in my current org and no calls on weekend. 

Any advice will be helpful.

I will finish 2 years in may, I worked as business analyst for 1 year 8 months and took release in order to get into a React Js project, I gave rmg all my skills, he said he could not get me a project on those skills, I am rejecting all the support projects, he threatened me saying people are getting released from company if they are not taking projects,
(I cleared digital few months ago)


Cut to the present-
I am working on L1 Sap support, every day I feel like quitting the company, I might have applied for around 400 companies easily in the past 1 month I received call from 2 and neither had scheduled interview after knowing the notice period, If I dont take a decision now I wont be able to crack interviews later as days pass the experience I need to fake also builds,

My options:
1. I thought I will keep my papers after the current hike and revoke it if I do not get any offer
2. Fight with the current manager for release on the basis of the 2 year contract he recently told, which was not mentioned while I was taken into the project.
3. Do my learnings parallelly and when I get an offer I will leave the company


My current level of understanding in react is moderate, I have done few small projects and I helped one of my friends in his project for some time and I feel that I can crack interviews.

Please give your suggestions, its a life thats going to change if i stay here for 2 more yrs I will come out with 0 exposure and 4 yrs experience.

I'm currently working at a startup in Bangalore. Consider that they are paying me X LPA. All fixed. I've total experience of Mar-October as Intern and October - Present as SDE1. So overall experience of 8 months. This means that my appraisal is due in next 4 months. As per our appraisal policy and as per conversation with my manager I'll receive around 50% of hike. So that will make my CTC as X + 5. But the catch here is that the project which I'm working at is fucked up and this project has highest attrition. Very bad client and constant abuses and abnormal working hour around 12-13 hours daily. Evrything is fucked up and I don't enjoy working here in this project. Project change is also out of question as no one will take this.

I've received an offer from Health startup eka.care but they are offering X+3 that too with lot of negotiation. The work culture is superb, the tech stack is fun and great, people are nice and team is highly qualified and great. 

I don't know what to do? I don't want to keep switching the companies every now and then. It's true that current org is paying and they will pay even more post appraisal but the work is not good and I don't like the work. New org work is good and I really want to join but they are not paying great, I mean the 30% hike is decent but if they pay X+3 then I would have to look for job again after 8-9 months because I'll be really needing money at end of 2025.

My total experience:
8 months - If intern can be counted then 14 months.

Please suggest me what to do? If I constantly switch in 6/8 months then that would deter other recruiters to contact me because I've made very unstable choices. I'm confused what to do, if any of you have been in such situations then please suggest.

Should I prioritise money? Work? Both? What about my profile? So much confusion is there and really I'm awaiting your inputs.

Hi, I am an M. Tech CSE graduate from tier 1 college. I have one year of experience in back-end development. 

My current CTC is 14 lpa with 12.6 lpa as base pay.

I got an offer from a fintech startup with 15.5 lpa as base pay, 74k variable and 1.5 lpa as ESOPs vested over 4 years. 

Am I low balled in the offer?

My current company has a notice period of 60 days and the offer company needs joining in 30 days which in turn needs me to pay back for the remaining 30 days.

So I recently gave an interview to a company, cracked it and got offered 50% hike but I was very hesitant joining there because they said they'll demote my role to a Jr Engineer, because they said my code wasn't as good as they wanted. 

The task was to add a new feature in their codebase, all I did was used the existing transformers, methods and I just wrote a new one for the feature they requested, it worked flawlessly without a single issue.

So, their existing code had issues and they counted that into my assessment and said they'll reduce the salary promised on their job listing by 40%.

So I first said yes, I was just looking that hike my my salary, later to omly realise, I keep seeking for validation when working there rather than working for shipping features.

So, I actually turned it down.

I am working as data analyst in healthcare sector with 6 years of exp. However my payscale is as low as 8LPA even after switching the companies. I dont know whats wrong in healthcare corporate industry where they just dont want to spend money on employees but have revenues in billions just like any other IT giants, i see people in banglore having ~80LPA and here i am struggling to achieve 8LPA even after 6yrs with multiple awards and recognition from clients and having certification trainings completed. I joined Accenture in 2021 at l10 and got promoted in 2022 June to l9 with 30%. After that dint get any increment in salary(only 3% once ) like most of my project colleagues. Now i got an offer with 30% hike but my managers are asking me to stay back,though they won't give me any promotion or increment in June cycle asnit is already locked ( that's what they are saying) but they are assuring me that they will match my offer in two cycles ( major % in dec cycle and remaining June 2025 cycle. Also ,they don't want to give anything in writing and want me to trust them. What should I do ,trust them and stay back or switch with 30% hike. I have total 9yeo and the new organisation is an Indian mnc. Plus I have a good repo here in Accenture and a good work life balance.

Recently I joined this company A but I received an offer from company B, 2 days after completing my onboarding formalities in company A. The package offered by B is 2 lakhs more than what they offer in company A.

Will I judged for chasing money in company A if I do so ?

Place- Delhi
Current Salary 5.04LPA (All fixed and 5 day week office)

What they are offering is 
6LPA (90% fixed, 10% variable - based on performance, to be paid every quater, alternate saturday working)

And I'll have to shift to gurgaon for the job.


Is the offer good or what should I negotiate.
