I got a call from Infosys BPM as they are hiring for a client and the recruiter told me that my profile is a fit and they want to hire me sooner , but the hr called me and started shouting as i had 1.2 year of experience and they wanted 2 years of people and i asked if you only called me, but the hr told that i am unprofessional, Infosys is a big company and blah blah, and they have budget of 3 LPA for 2 years. I already have a 5-LPA offer from TCS 


Shame on this company paying peanuts and 70 hour work culture

Recently, I gave an interview at this early startup in Bangalore. It consisted of 5 rounds.
- The first four rounds were technical, design, and assignment rounds which went well. I answered all the questions fairly well and the interviewer was happy knowing the answer.

- The fifth round was with the CEO - Now this was the turning point. He was more concerned about my personal situation. He asked questions like, where I live, where is my hometown, if WFO is okay for me (I was working remotely in my current company ), and where is your dad ( I said he was no more and that turned off the CEO of a company), how will you keep my mother in BLR, why your mom not living with your siblings?. And I was like "WTF man".the only technical question he asked -> "Have you ever hacked a system in your recent days?". 😂😂

After wasting more than 14 hours in the process I received a rejection mail without any feedback.

Message to recruiter - if you are more concerned about the personal situation of the candidate, please conduct a preliminary round for that.

What's the worst company you have worked for?

ICICI Bank, they had a strict sign in timing policy where if you are late to corporate office, half day salary would be cut, It would be reversed only when manager approves. The sign out time used to be 5.15pm, but you would be made to sit till 8 pm by most of the managers even if your job is done for the day. A sign out at 6 pm used to be called as half day by most of the managers. 
 I heard now they donot have this dictatorial policy.

Hi everyone, let me tell you a fact regarding TCS.

In 2022 I was part of a technical interview panel and select a candidate. As it was a virtual session, HR was also present. Once I selected that guy HR discussed about the salary. You dont belive in same technology having less than 5 years of experience than me HR agreed to offer a package which is 30% more than my package. I understood the loyal value of my employment being there for more than 7 years. Its really demotivates me in terms of everything and now i hv decided to leave TCS and untill i am there in TCS wont take any interview atleast.

TCS doesn't care about its loyal employee.

I received an email from Infosys regarding a job application. They asked me to confirm a timeslot for the interview. I checked if the sender is genuine.

Also I received automated phone calls and WhatsApp messages confirming my decision to proceed with the application.

On the day of interview, I kept waiting for hours. I didn't receive any interview email nor call from the recruiting team.

I wrote to them and their response mentioned that they wanted to check my availability but it doesn't mean they are available or going to actually interview me.

This hapenned with me for the fourth time. Lol.

I need some advice regarding an issue I faced at my job at Infosys. I was placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) with goals that included completing certifications and accelerate tasks. While I completed the certifications, the accelerate tasks were never assigned to me. Despite this, my performance was evaluated, and I was told I failed the PIP, leading to HR taking action against me.

Here are my main concerns:

1. Incomplete PIP Process: Accelerate tasks were not assigned, yet my performance was still evaluated.

2. Unfair Evaluation: The evaluation seemed unfair without the necessary tasks.

3. Lack of Support and Communication: There was little guidance or communication about the PIP process.

I've asked HR and my manager for clarification and am waiting for a response. Meanwhile, I'd appreciate any advice or similar experiences you can share. How did you handle such situations? What steps did you take? Thank you.

I joined my company couple of months back. I’m 2023 passout and previously i had an intern experience at a startup, i gave interview of SAP Labs because i was not sure of my PPO. In the HR round of SAP Labs HR asked me about the salary I’m expecting at SAP, i told her “X” and after getting that number she told me she would get back to me after discussing it with manager, but after couple of days she offered me “T” which was way less than “X” . I knew she was tryna low ball me but as i did not had any other offer in my hand, I had to accept it. But with the salary that I’m getting (ik it is less than my peers) i just don’t feel like giving my full at my work it just demotivates me, should i talk to my manager about this? because while joining my manager thought i joined at “X” ctc but I never revealed this, also i do not have an idea what exactly should i convey to my manager. Please help me out
