Interviewer said I'm undervaluing myself, how much should l ask?

Hi fellow designers, I am a brand & graphic designer who worked at a smaller design studio for the last 5 years or so. I am now looking to join an in-house brand team in a big start-up/corporate. In my previous company, since it was a smaller design studio, I was getting paid less compared to what startups and corporates pay their designers. Will my previous lower-than-market-rate-salary affect my ability to get a good CTC now? What is a good CTC expectation for a senior brand & graphic designer with 5-6 years of good work experience?

I am from a tier 1 college and our placements season is going on, this year the market is very bad, we have very less companies than the previous year and the pay is low as well. From Dec 1, our interview will start but till now I have got no interview shortlist. But I have got an off-campus offer for 13LPA in Greater Noida, I wanted to ask if 13LPA is good enough for living in Greater Noida. The recruiter asked me how much I expected I panicked and said 13LPA, actually I wish more than I said, I mean if they give 13LPA as base rather than CTC then it is more than enough for me. Should i take the offer or negotiate or do what? If negotiated, then how can the company agree to 13LPA base? TL;DR: should I accept a 13LPA offer or negotiate it, for a dev role in Greater Noida. I am fresher sitting for my campus placements. please help

I have interned for an iot based start-up for 3 months. Following the completion of the internship period I was offered a full time offer and got a chance to negotiate my salary. CTO offered me 4.8 LPA and I could only say that my expectations are around 6LPA knowing that other developers with the same experience are getting 7LPA +. Now I am feeling bad about not negotiating well (though my expectations were also around 7LPA). The CTO said he will see what he can do, and I doubt he will give me around 5.4-5.5. Now I don't know what to do, I've blundered in negotiation. Any tips on what I can do? I can't change job as I am a fresher with only 3 months of intern experience.

Am I being overpaid? I am a backend engineer with 7 years of experience. I've been rejected by multiple organizations during salary discussions. They mentioned they can't provide such a high salary. I have been working at my current company for about a year now. I joined the company with the understanding that I would be learning a lot and being paid less than market value. At that time, I didn't mind being paid less; I joined on 3.5 LPA in Bangalore. After that, in December, I got an appraisal, which put my CTC at 4.4 LPA. Since everyone on my team knows what I'm capable of, I asked for the hike. I have been doing a lot of valuable work, such as automation, and I've filed patents as well in my final year project at my university. I have also been assigned all of the challenging tasks because my team knows that I am capable of handling them. I recently asked my manager for a raise. I asked for a 100% raise, which would bring my salary close to 9 LPA. My manager said that he would consider my request, but he eventually came back with an offer of a first 15% and then 25% raise. I believe that a 25% raise is still too low. I am looking for a job where I am paid what I am worth. I am confident that I can find a job that pays me 9 LPA or more. I just wanted to know some second thoughts: am I doing something wrong in the negotiation, or should I approach it in a different way? Not to denigrate others, but I know my teammates carry 2-3 years of experience, but I'm still the one coming up with new ideas and how to solve the problem, and I'm delivering it. Many times, my manager even said he always has higher expectations of me than others. The excuse my manager is giving is that it doesn't matter; if you join on a higher package at some other place, you'll have to return the joining bonus here of 1 lakh (I'm leaving before 18 months, so), plus after paying taxes, the equation becomes equal, so he's suggesting to wait until December and then look for other options.

The company I used to work for recently shut down and I just received my first offer from a sizeable unicorn. I am being massively low-balled (20% cut). And on top of it, it's an exploding offer. I have a couple of interviews lined up (they start after May 28th) but at the moment, this is the only offer I have. What should I do? 1. Hard negotiate? Leave the offer on the table if it doesn't work out. 2. Soft negotiate. Get the offer. Interview with other companies and try to get a better offer before joining (feels wrong) Things to consider: - I have 10+ months runway - Last cash comp was 24L at 2.5YOE I'm leaning towards 1.

I recently switched to a new comapny with a CTC of 33lpa. Although this is a much better company in terms of work and culture, I feel like I have been low balled. I applied to a company for software developer role and in their job portal it was mentioned software engineer (7-20lakhs). my current ctc is 10.43 lakhs and I want to tell them 18 lakhs as expected salary but fear that they will ghost me as it would be 80% hike. What should I do?
