Is glassdoor really anonymous?
I want to post a honest review but I don't want my current employer to find out about it. Is glassdoor really a safe place or can it be traced back to me?
It is anonymous.
I think you should focus more on keeping out facts from your story which could be used to personally identify you. Something like a specific fight you had with your manager. If your manager reads that review he will be able to guess it's you.
So make your story as generic as possible while keeping the essence of the review intact

Maybe from a different fake account 😅

But glassdoor really matters because candidates look at glassdoor. The hr team looks at glassdoor instead of exit interview documents. I've been in a meeting in which we were just discussing a glassdoor review, like no feedback has ever been discussed before

It is anonymous and can’t be tracked back. Have seen things from the admin side :)
