Is there a future for Customer Success or no?
I've been approached recently by a Series B company to lead their Customer Success team for a specific region. But honestly, I'm a bit uncertain about continuing in this industry. Currently, searching for alternative paths that could potentially be a better match for me. So, I thought I'd ask here to gather some perspectives from you all. Brownie points if you could help with alternative paths you think I could explore.
Having customer success would be a strong background for moving into product management, but mainly within the same firm. You now have the advantage of knowing how your product work, and then the ultimate experience of working with end users as well.

The real future is in AI assisted customer success imo. If you can crack that somehow it would elevate you in the industry.

CS being a very Relationship oriented profile, where do you think AI could help?

Just sorting queries itself is a good start imo. Maybe train a model on company data and customer chats. Not sure though, I'm not an expert on AI models.
