So I have been working at a company for close to a year now, appraisal is due in june. I work as chief of staff in the founder’s office in a profitable startup. I am an individual contributor that does program management, business dev at times, business planning and strategy, corp dev and investor relations. Love the work I get to do here and we’re doing well as a business. I have been working in my company for over 4 years now, each time it's time for Appraisals I am told the company cannot go beyond 7%.
But I have progressed in my role through the years and I have delivered excellent growth results this year when the context has been dull. I am super frustrated it could end up with being handed a 7% increment and of course a football to take home, especially after my meeting with my manager.

I am working for a service based company. my profile is Devops engineer. I have a 1.6 year full stack developer experience . The last 6 months I have been doing work on the cloud. I switched to DevOps profile. I have a  total of 2 YOE and my current pkg is 4.75 CTC. you all know it's time to start for appraisal so how can I  take more hikes and how can I propose ?

How to take the maximum hike in appraisal?

I have been working for my current employer for over 2 years as PM. Most of the employees haven't received any formal appraisal over the years. The company is going through some of the financial stress till last Dec. But it seems things are getting back in order as no more salary delays at my level.

I have heard and confirmed that few have received salary hikes either due to retention or other ways.

Searching for a job over the past 1 year but unable to land any yet. Its getting difficult to manage financially living on rent in mumbai, committing everyday to office and all.

I am working as a SDE -1 for a startup for more than a year now, and I am confused what should be hike percentage after getting promoted to SDE - 2 that I should expect or should demand as a bare minimum?

PS. I had 6 working days for nearly a year working 10-12 hours a day.

Background: I work in a D2C consumer product startup, we have an in-house website and a growing tech team of 7 people. The whole business team is 100+. I'm a '23 grad from a tier 1 engineering college.

I joined the company back in September when the job market was at the bottom and I had to take a 40% pay cut (21LPA to 12LPA) (while switching (the last company ran out of funding). I was at a higher than avg base in my previous role but the current role is 20% below the average. (15LPA) The company is in a growth stage and lots of processes are yet to be defined which leads to a lot of chaos but I get a lot of freedom as well.

My manager is aware of the whole situation and we had also negotiated a 6-month review for ESOP allotment. My monthly reviews have been going well and we have shipped some good improvements and features over the last few months.

Only PM in the startup, how much appraisal should I ask for at 6 months?
