How do I downvote this to a place so down in hell that even the spirit of Mumbai doesn’t find it? The city is over crowded, people live like cockroaches, trains are filled like herds of animals fill an area. They do all this and say the city never sleeps, yes it doesn’t cause what you earn during the day doesn’t even fulfill the needs of the day. Don’t even get me started on the property rates. I wish more cities just get developed so Mumbai doesn’t have an influx of humans every year and the nature has time to take a breather.

Being from Delhi It's hard for me to say it's the best city cause of the traffic, and low maintenance of the public property but It has given me some really good friends and memories to embrace so there's no hate for Mumbai, and also not forget my most of the late-night hangouts happened in Mumbai as it feels even safe post-midnight here so yeah I came to Mumbai with a mindset of not liking it but now it's difficult to think about going back to Delhi.

Not even remotely, for 5 km of travel in peak hours it takes 1 hour. Our of all big 4 metros Mumbai stands the last iin terms of transportation/infra. And i am surprised people glorify such pain as a part of hustle. Never my type of city

Every place looks beautiful from top.  The real beauty of Mumbai should be experienced travelling like cattle in the peak hour local train.  One can practically  feel the spirit of Mumbai squeezing the balls.

Opinions on regions in India for work

I’m born & raised in Mumbai. I have been meeting people from different sectors who are working in Mumbai. They come from different parts of India. All I hear from them is Mumbai is bad in terms of traffic, roads, expensive accommodation etc.
If these people don’t like the city then they should simply leave and go back to their home town. 
Their govt is incapable of developing their states infra and creating jobs that’s why these people come here. 
Why don’t they stay in their state and make a difference.
What is the point of constantly bashing the city ? These people are spineless, they don’t even care or want to improve Mumbai. 
They just want to make money & enjoy the cosmopolitan lifestyle here.

- Young boys of Juhu, Bandra, Versova all look like Aryan Khan and Vedang Raina (Archies starcast), like everyone is an actor here or what?
- The traffic isn't shitty, the drivers are. They are coming at you from everywhere, left right front. If you can drive here, you are good for anywhere tbh
- Only 1% of the Two wheelers drivers wear helmet. No fear of traffic cops if not for life?
- The roads man, the roads. Never appreciated Delhi/Gurgaon more than seeing such tiny roads across the country 
- The pay disparity is on the face! Posh areas with tall buildings are lined with small houses - tarpaulin roof, bare walls but AC units
- The family bond is very evident - families watching TVs together with windows open (why don't they draw curtains tbh?) or be it on beaches over the weekend. It's cute nonetheless ❤️ 
- The safety is crazy (in a very good way). I was out at 10pm last night, and my mind was panicking like shit. But looks like, be it 10 am or 10pm, it is BAU for the city
- Have you seen the traffic signals? Apart from the usual, they have four tubelights in perpendicular. Just cannot jump lights now!
- Metro has 4 coaches 😆 

- The Sea heals parts of your soul you didn’t even know were broken 🥺

Alright,  Bangalore is the best city in India. It's not just the best, it's in a league of its own compared to other cities.

First off, let's talk about the weather. Bangalore's weather is perfect all year round, magical. Unlike heat waves of Delhi and the shit humidity of Mumbai, Bangalore's climate is the best. 

Who wants to sweat anytime you step out or freeze to death in winters? Not me. 

Bangalore is where the real innovation happens. Really smart people making this country better. These Delhi Bombay kids caught lacking for real.

And the people? Bangalore's got the best of the country. It's cosmopolitan. You've got people from all over the country, and everyone's more educated and progressive. 

So, let's cut to the chase. Bangalore is the best city, hands down. The rest of India can keep dreaming, but they'll never catch up.

It's been some time since I received some kindness from people. The last time I heard some kind words or got a kind gesture was very long ago. Today, whoever I interact with behaves absurdly without any compassion. The shopkeepers won't talk politely if asked about a product, the house owners will talk rudely and make random rules any day, people won't smile on the metro, in restaurants they will shout on the waiters and the list goes on. I am not even bringing up autowalas and taxiwalas. What does it take to show some compassion? How much does it take to compromise a little bit so that other person feels good about this world? Why does everyone want to just rip other off? 😞

I have shifted from banglore to my hometown in rajasthan and its lovely here. Greet everyone with ram ram /radhe radhe and people smile back greet back, its superb. I was missing this element in banglore

And since the time I left Delhi ncr, i haven't had a chance to be in any city which has a closer or better public transport system.
