Are you working remotely from Bangalore? (Even though Bangalore isn't your home city)
If so, why?
(I am doing so because going back home and living with parents sounds a bit depressing.)
Alright, Bangalore is the best city in India. It's not just the best, it's in a league of its own compared to other cities.
First off, let's talk about the weather. Bangalore's weather is perfect all year round, magical. Unlike heat waves of Delhi and the shit humidity of Mumbai, Bangalore's climate is the best.
Who wants to sweat anytime you step out or freeze to death in winters? Not me.
Bangalore is where the real innovation happens. Really smart people making this country better. These Delhi Bombay kids caught lacking for real.
And the people? Bangalore's got the best of the country. It's cosmopolitan. You've got people from all over the country, and everyone's more educated and progressive.
So, let's cut to the chase. Bangalore is the best city, hands down. The rest of India can keep dreaming, but they'll never catch up.
Bangalore is possibly the shittiest city on Earth after Delhi. No water, no decent food, no roads, no metro, no manners, no autos, no public transport, NON SENSE
Best city should have best in class infrastructure. But infra is third class.
Which city your comparison for this
Hyderabad
Got mugged by cops, rear-ended by drunk chhapri bikers and hounded by local garbage mafia as well in an 8-day span in '22. But yeah, the weather is still the best among the top cities.
Transportation and commute there suxxxx big time. Unplanned roads, the barest of things causing massive traffic jams, auto wale bhaiyas quoting exorbitant amounts for 2kms stretch lol, 68 hours required to get one single cab i mean haha
The locals here are the meanest and the rudest people I have ever had the unfortunate experience of meeting. They lack basic manners and themselves are actually prettu racists and then cry about North Indians being racists like lol bro plis lets not be hypocrites
What’s up with such crazy rental prices and then having the shittiest and ugliest house ever? 😂 Delhi/Gurgaon - for the same amount of- you get SUCH beautiful and aesthetic homes. So so beautiful. Idhar 1.5 lakh mein 3 bhk jhopdi milti hai lol.
The only redeeming factor is the migrant population which kind of still makes the place okayish to live - because you get to hangout with them. Dont pat yourselves on the back, dear locals. You are not contributing to it in the least. As for weather, jab sab kuch itna bekar hai toh weather ka achaar daale?
Oh and btw- Tumhari roti chalti hai “migrant population” se. The ones you are always complaining against. God knows kis baat ka attitude hai yaha ke locals mein.
Last k 4 lines 👌🙌 Btw. Inhe toh hindi bhi nhi aati 😅
Most cities are great if you're privileged enough. The weather card doesn't play anymore, we hit 40°C this summer and water shortage. 447 trees lost in a week due to rain, last week. Infrastructure poorly planned and constructed at the pace of a snail. Not to mention how unwalkable this city is. There are just a handful of footpaths that aren't obstructed or outright unusable. One the most poorly planned cities accomodation the population of a small country.
If so, why?
(I am doing so because going back home and living with parents sounds a bit depressing.)
I won't.. too overcrowded.. with fuckall infra.. people are nice though.. but autowala's drive like a maniac
Everything fuck expensive and politicians don't care if you don't vote in this place.
Bombay’s the financial capital of India and Bangalore’s the Silicon Valley of India. Which one would you prefer and why? Would your opinion change w.r.t age (eg. 20s are better in Mumbai vs 30s are better in Bangalore?
Any thoughts?
You know, living in Bangalore is a bit like being in a whirlwind of contrasts. One moment you’re sipping a frothy cup of filter coffee at a quaint little cafe, the aroma wrapping around you like a warm blanket. The next, you’re caught in...
