Men of grapevine, do you have a skincare routine?
I've never had a skincare routine, but recently have been hearing a lot about products like retanol. Curious to know about the most effective products you have used (or is all of it just a scam)?
Most of it is a scam.
Diet and health is more important.
If you have that sorted then you should look at everything else.
Morning:
Toner
niacinamide
Moisturizer
Sun cream
At night:
Toner
Vitamin C
Moisturizer
1 tablet Fish oil daily
It made a difference. Only a clean diet was not enough for good skin. Everyone has different skin types.
What is niacinamide? How much time does all of this take to do? And fish oil? What does thah do?

I got good results once I started using Sunscreen. Been only using that everyday now
I had a problem of tanning which I never realised. After regular sunscreen usage my skin glow has improved
Take care of your health from inside including mental health. Drink a lot of water and do some form of exercise.
Don't put too much stress on cream and other thing, if you are really looking -- aloevera, gulab jal and paraben free facewash is enough.
It’s not scam but effect is too short lived and overuse can cause major issues. Best to make urself healthy then u won’t really need this or very minimal
Start out simple and build good habits.
In mornings, Salicylic acid cleanser + moisturizer (minimalist/Dr sheth/derma co are some good ones) + sunscreen (derma co ftw)
At night, just cleanse your face again and apply moisturizer.
This should be easy enough to build into your routine and with time you can add stuff like retinol, niacinamide and others. But the bare minimum mentioned above also helps with most skin problems.
(Oh and keep changing your pillow covers frequently and if possible, use a different towel for your face, you'll realise the difference it makes in a while)

Basic (any) soap and a lotion for dry skin, that's all.
Men don't need skin care, just take care of diet, exercise and hygiene.

I would say women don't either but they'll never believe it anyways 😂

Men don't really need a lot of chemical skincare routine until n unless they hav a major issue....
I would suggest for starters buy a moisturizer and sunscreen as per ur skin type and have plenty of water and fruits n vegetables...reduce junk.
That should work...
U can use retinol for lines n wrinkles
Salicylic acid for black heads
Niacinamide for pigmentation etc etc
Retanol causes peeling of skin right? Makes it more sensitive? Is that really worth it?
1 good facewash investment
1 good moisturiser investment
And 1 good cologne investment
Exercise regularly
Walk a mile
Wear confidence that you're the best it dosent matter what people think of you
Skincare routines? They're no scam, boss! Your skin deserves the royal treatment. Try it, then trust it. After all, "Acche din aane waale hain!"
