I am a 6.5 year of experience backend engineer currently employed with a US based company that doesn't send people to usa on L1 as far as I know. But I have to go to USA because my fiancee is moving abroad for her studies. I have a decent salary here. Hence, I don't see the need for further studies for myself for career growth. Nevertheless, I have applied to a few colleges there. But I also want to know if there is any way to move to USA through my job as I would really not want to break up due to long distance. Please guide me if you can

How can I move to USA with my job?

I have a strong passion in tech. I’m almost a nerd. The thing is, I never wanted to study the conventional indian way and therefore I don’t have a good academic record. 
10th : 8.8 gpa
12th: 71 %
Joined a civil course even though i loved tech, regretted and moved to another university after completing 2 years of civil.
Completed graduation with a degree in ECE and an 8.1 GPA due to covid.

My professional record is quite average with a 12.65 LPA offer as an SDE, 1 YOE.

The thing is, I crave money.  The current market situation and the opportunities available currently does not seem decent for me to switch and get a 20~30 LPA job.

Therefore I am considering higher studies. I need some advice from people who have been there and done that.

I am currently working as an software developer (5+ years experience)with around 40LPA CTC. 

Most of the people in my circle have gone there 2-3 years back.

Now I am having a fear of missing out, I applied for a few universities and I have got an admit in MS in CS. 

Is it worth it to migrate to another country and start again at this point of my career? What is your opinion on work in USA compared to India?

Need some experienced folks with honest answers please.

Hi Grapevine, Just curious to know your thoughts of going to the US/EU as an SDE during the early age of your career. 
Maybe not now but within 1 year. Pure motivation is money and will definitely come back to India in a couple of years .

I'm currently working as a software engineer in India, with TC 45LPA and 2 years of experience. I'm thinking about applying for a Master's in CS in the USA for fall 2024. For me it was the army and followed by my corporate job. I never felt like leaving the country. It’s always better to live like a first class citizen in a 3rd world country than a third class citizen in a first world country. 
  
 In addition to this, family is what defines us as Indians and that kept me hinged back home

Note: currently monthly income from the whole family (me and wife (9.5 exp) is 3.2 lakhs after all taxes) . We save around 1.7 lakhs monthly after all the monthly expenses.
