I'm expecting an offer from Nielsen Media for a Senior Software Engineer position. I have 3 years of experience with a current package of 20 LPA fixed, plus a 3 LPA retention bonus payable over 2 years. They are offering me 23 LPA fixed plus 2 LPA variable. Could anyone share what I should expect from Nielsen for an SSE position in terms of salary and potential hikes? Also, any insights into the work culture there would be appreciated. Guys who are currently working at Nielsen Media how's the work culture ? Heard they hired most of the Byju's folks from management level to fresher level as well. Also heard that they are recently setting up their business in India. Actually I have an offer from them and was thinking shall I join them or not as there is lack of clarity regarding work culture and other things.

Genuinely curious! Like I graduated about 4 years ago from an NIT and started with 40k pm for an analytics role, now everyone I see is earning atleast 12lpa after tax?

Company calls it 21L packages, but it’s not per annum rather a cumulative of 3 years. So the data is old but from what i read, you get 3.3lpa for the first 15-18 months, post that you receive a one time 5L bonus. then you work for 5.5lpa for a year, and finally 7.25 lpa for the third year And if you leave between the 3Y, you have to return the 5L bonus with 6 month notice period. if you don’t want notice period, pay up 10L Anyone from MuSigma who can throw light on this?

Has anyone received offers from Nielsen Bangalore office for PM roles? I ve heard they are on a hiring spree for such roles here. What has been the experience like and the offers made?
