Ola Electric Silent Layoffs
A good friend of mine who was hired in Ola Electric (on campus 2022) as SDE has been put up on the performance improvement plan / PIP. Interesting part is that half of her team was laid off and remaining ones have been put up on PIP. Those on PIP are being asked to also pay for 3 months salary along with the joining bonus. I don't think giving back 3 months salary and joining bonus is something she should accept? Like they're anyways ruining their career by putting them on PIP in first 10 months of their start of career?

Damn why would anyone willingly give back 3 months of salary? This makes no sense. Sounds like a terrible situation

I am not sure why would anyone even entertain Ola HRs anymore? They are clearly a horrible company to work for
