Overthinkers of GV, what unlikely scenario actually came true that you were completely prepared for because you are an overthinker?

This one time, I was going to travel by train. I imagined what if my spectacles magically slid off my nose and end up on the train tracks while I try to board the train. Well.... The next day.. while I was sitting by the window, I sneezed. Yes it happened. My spectacles got swooped off my face in a jiffy. I have double digit myopia and that was the only pair of eye glasses I had. Spent about 3 weeks with only contact lens till my dad got me a new pair. I was shifting to a hostel in a different place. It was really hard at night because we had common bath room and I was kinda blind the whole time.
