PEOPLE WORK IN CORPORATE FOR MORE THAN 10 YEAR - HOW???

I have 4 companies to offer please help me decide which company to go. Tcs -23 TechM -26 Chubb 27 lpa Epam 29 lpa

I don't understand people who have been with one organisation for 10, 15, 20 years. I can't even think beyond 3 years and that's a stretch too.

Is staying in a single company for 10 years bad? Is it a sign that the employee has no skills to get another job?

Hi all. I need your advice. I passed out in 2023 and joined Capgemini as a software engineer. I have been tagged to the Guidewire project but I am not getting interested in that domain because the main problem is that the Guidewire developer demand is only in service based companies and few product based only. Apart from those few companies, no one even knows what Guidewire is. I don't want to work in Guidewire. Everyday feels like I am wasting my time. I don't want to learn guidewire and waste my time. My manager has now even started scolding that I can't even fix one jira or issue alone, I know nothing about guidewire and to be honest I don't even want to learn it Whenever I get free time I have started learning mern stack development. But this will take a lot of time to do it properly and then switch to another company. Now what should I do? Stay in Capgemini only till I get prepared in 1-2 years completely or leave the job and focus on learning mern.

Everyone is jumping for higher salary because they're supposed to - as potentially expenses increases over time over an individual's life cycle. I was new to my role , had some experience already, and now 2.5 years later I'm an expert in this role ...and I'm feeling the pressure of "switching" for better pay and learning and growth because otherwise I'm stagnated in this role in this company. My CTC right now was once upon a time my aspiration but now it's on the lower average side for my years of experience. But wasn't the point of work to find a place where you can work for a long long time and make decent money - I like the role , the bosses , the flexibility etc. But the organization size is small and there genuinely isn't much steep growth path ahead. I am ambitious and I would like a bigger role in a different company at some point of time in my life but right now everything is settled here and is fine...except the learning / growth/ salary is now stagnated for the next ~12 months or so. I'm confused about staying or switching.

I have my senior managers who are 32-33 and are making 1cr+ per year. What do people do at the age of 40 or 50 Is there a scope for further salary increments or role increments? Unless someone works at a company like HUL, what is the future?

What’s the realistic timeline to achieve 50-75 LPA in Bangalore? Currently on 28 LPA. If followed career progression of my seniors, it will take at least 7 more years in the same company to hit ~75LPA. Need guidance from folks who are making these figures. I believe this will help anyone and everyone who is in this path in life? Note: I’m extremely grateful for all the opportunities and my current life through help from mentors and hard work. Anyone who is interested in moving to this role, please feel free to DM. I will share my experience.

Personally- I feel they are very averse to change and are promoters of politics within teams. Pls comment on your thoughts

I have in tech for about 5+ years and feel no urge to work. Every morning I feel like quitting and just relaxing for 6 months - 1 year focus on health and self. But then without salary how will I manage in long run. I want to know if this is me or others feels so as well and wanted to ask people who have 10+ years of experience how do you guys manage to work in corporate for this long
