I am newly allocated to a project and it's just 2 weeks happened.There is too much pressure expectations are high than my experience and also i did not like the way they treat the people and the language they are using against me.l want to release from the project..Is there will be any impact for getting into another projects If I ask for release from the project.Need suggestions

Need guidance from fellow experienced folks or who have done this before. What are the proper reasons to ask for a release.

My reasons:
- work is too hectic and repetitive and no growth technically (mostly support and maintenance once in a blue moon some dev sort of work).

- Client is mismanaged they dont know what work is important and come with multiple deadlines even before prod day.

- No proper KT is given when assigning a new task.

- In the name of agile its kanban board and not jira (given a sprint task to be finished in a day or two and new tickets pulled in between).

- Manager swaps ticket often in between sprint.

- Manager is mostly away even on standups or client calls so we manage faking they worked and we manage in behind scenes.

- Due to too many upcoming requests in tight deadlines from last 3 months wlb is miserable and have worked two weeks without an off once and night shift charges given is 220 only per day.

Now I need your all guidance on what can be a better approach or how to improvise

Asking manager a release?

So my current manager has decided there is not enough work to give me so she has decided to release me. I was fine with that because I thought I could start fresh. But on the same day I was told of the release I have been added to some other project. I was in Java development and now i have been added to some support project. When I called the new manager to tell him I am not interested he spoke very rudely asking me whether I think I can dictate terms around here with just shy of 2 year experience. All these decisions are made by people above you and I have to do as asked.  Is this normal in service based companies ??

Previously I worked in Persistent Systems for 2 years. Recently my hr called me to share the screen and resign. They have given me 7 days time to submit laptop and all the assets, leave the company. I just want to understand can't we do anything if they asked to do force resign. Because I have been in this company for 2 years, past 6 months they started doing this for atleast 40 employees per month only from my branch Hyderabad . Now it has become per week because they don't have projects and lot of projects are going to end in few months and already few projects moved out because when I spoked with senior in the company they are saying projects signed for 5 year's contract has now not interested to move. I asked  why because of internal company politics, favouritism, fake and backdoor employees, over commitment due to these projects are not delivered in given deadline. How employees Will look for another oppurtunity in 7 days, also in my case when said to my recruiter that I am laid off they didn't schedule interview call then I changed my plan started saying them that I am having offer of A from x company going to join in next 15 days, then they shared scheduling interview. 
Won't there be any legal action we can take on employer as an employee in this cases.

I am an entry level analyst in at Deloitte. Just wondering if these are some signs of a practice not doing great + potential layoffs in a few months/year.

1. Utilization: ~45% last quarter. They originally said that it was a slow start to the year with low CapEx by companies but we still don't look good this quarter now.

There was a small call last night between a few people in this project level meeting and the senior management straight up said "Their is no demand and people are still on bench. We need to reallocate some headcount"

2. Headcount growth - Last 1.5 years ago, every month we had 10-15 people join our practice, This has literally gone down to 1-2 hires to replace people who have left.

3. Resignations: 6-7 people are leaving every month in my practice, which is quite harsh. Someone told me that everyone they used to work with when they joined have already left.

4. AI-pocalypse - I feel most companies think that they can now do AI inhouse and niche projects but higher costs because of MS/PhD folks working on it is something they dont want to go for anymore.

If a layoff is incoming, what would be the best ways to prep?

I see two options:
1. Getting on a boring sad project but long term.
2. Do nothing: I am literally the cheapest resource in the company so they would ideally layoff senior folks first, right??

Working in TCS Kolkata and really looking for a job change. Current scenario is terrible at work .
BFSI not paying the full variable allowance for over 2 years.
Salary hikes much lower than industry standard.
Terrible atmosphere at office where people are trying to put blame on others .
Whoever goes for tea with manager is supposedly most important resource in the project.
BaNCS product platform is the worst example of product yet company is forcing us to work on it.
Manager refuses to release from project even after multiple request.
5 days mandatory attendance at office is expected with threats of deduction from salary in case of less attendance 
No timings maintained.People are calling at night and expecting to get work done at the spot.So people are expected to work both at office and home which is taking a toll on personal life.
Leaves are not getting granted for no reason.
Promotion pending for over 2 years with no ETA from manager.

Hi Everyone, This post is about the Toxic Co-Founder of Quantiphi (Mr Toxic Asif Hassan).

Reasons:

1. Work-Culture has become Toxic, People in Project are working since 5 weekends without any single leave ( No Extra Pay/No Comp-offs/ No weekend Leaves) and that to 13-14hours a day Straight.

2. People in my project who have raised voices have been told (" You know what options you have and I have "). Indirectly saying if you revolt either i will fire you or you resign immediately.

3. People facing issues with Clients(Canda's BigTicket Insurance Firm) paying a huge amount for an un-realistic deadline project were told by Asif. If you have any problems that don't come to me, i want only solutions( He doesn't want to listen to Anyone).

4. People were forcefully told to come to the office ( Some people who had some genuine issues e.g. one of our colleagues recently got blessed with a baby) was told by Asif you are not the one caring for the baby, So you have to come.

5. All our advanced leaves are cancelled, People who are taking Sick leave are being told either bring your backup or work with your Illness, we don't care.

6. Issues raised with HR, HR says "We cant do anything".

7. In the last 7 days many senior people and colleagues were either Forcefully resigned / got Laid-Off.

8. The people suffering the most are the ones directly in touch with the client or the developers reason being Asif bashes Managers and Managers Bash us for No fault of ours because of the un-realistic deadlines set.

9. People revolting are put on the bench and are laid-off the next day without any reason. 

The Moral of the whole team is near to Zero and many of us are thinking to voluntarily Resign from this toxic workplace. 

Guys do suggest, should we call out these kinds of toxic Co-Founders and Companies or not. I need to help me reach this post to a wider audience.

.Just a week before the appraisal cycle, the let go of 100+ folks both billed onsite and offsite without even informing anyone in the team which impacted the work and morale of existing people. When asked about this to the management, all they cared about was the reviews on the ambition box and Glassdoor being low. They asked employees to give good reviews and when it was not working they used the marketing team to give good reviews, you can check the reviews yourself to verify this. The next big thing is , keeping org wide evaluations from manager level also and calling it some development program and mandating the employees to take it along with delivery work. I'm working as a BA in my current org. I'm on bench for more than 30 days and I have dropped my resignation but the HR is not approving my early release. I have an offer in hand and I need to join in another 15 days. In even agreed for notice period buyout but still that HR isn't allowing. 

It's really upsetting when we do not have any dependencies why do the HR ask to serve the complete notice period? Infact it is a loss for them to keep Billing me in bench.

Please advice what can be done here in my situation

How to get Release from Project in MNCs ?

TLDR : 
I joined this company back in the end of 2021 and got trained for 3 months and got selected into a project but after 5 months the project got shelved due to billing issues from client side.

Anyways after 2 months I got selected into another new project which is Good actually and I got in hands experience and upskilled myself there for almost 10 months then the project was successful and released from it. The worst thing happened is during this time it's my hike and appraisal time, i don't know why but my manager gave me a 3/5 rating even though I performed my tasks within time and in feedback he said your knowledge and skills are good.

After 2 months I got moved to a support type project but the thing is I didn't got any work frequently 😞, even when I asked my manager to give me work he's giving only one incident per week and eventually worked for another development team for 2 months regarding a new object but it also got hold due to billing. And worked in that project till November last yr, from December I'm not getting any work or response from the manager. 

Finally in January I got an email that there is no scope for billing in this project and we are releasing you, so please look into any other project and we are forwarding your resume to others.

Now,  I am feeling sad  because in the span of 2+ years i got work in hands for only 1 year and the remaining time got wasted and another thing is I don't have any project now and my next appraisal is in 5 months from now.
