Prosci Change Management Certification - Is it really worth it?
Hi, I have over 3 years of experience as an instructional designer, but I don't have hands-on experience in change management. I'm interested in the Prosci Change Management Certification to enhance my skills and career prospects. However, since it's a costly program, should I pursue this certification now, or wait until I have the opportunity to gain practical experience in change management through a project? Many projects and job profiles that I am interested in require change management expertise, but my chances of gaining real experience are limited as I am already booked for a project as a training developer until 2025. Link: Thank you.
I would recommend to have hands on experience working on a change project, as prosci’s assessment and curriculum will be easy to crack and relate. Your core change concepts should be clear for you to have better understanding of this certification.
Also, this is definitely a tough one to crack! Without a strong foundation, it’ll be a little challenging but not impossible :)
