Quick question, are fields other than software, finance, design so much more important than others such as mechanical, civil, electrical; that they don’t even warrant a section on any platform for discussion?
Just thinking. It’s weird how less importance is given to making physical things happen in the world around us.
It is a function of the people on this app, maybe. For example:
You would not find Footballers frequenting LinkedIn, are you trying to say that other fields are more important than playing football for your nation?
That they don’t even warrant a section on LinkedIn for only Footballers.
If other professionals get on the app then Ofcourse they will get their own spaces to discuss.
Somehow it feels like you’re trying to find reasons to be offended.

I’m not offended, just wondering why people from one section decided to bunch up together, and others decided they don’t want a platform?

Mechanical, Civil, electrical folks died the day they graduated in this country
Then everyday they mourn their own death in this app and similar communities as PMs, generalists, unemployed, therapy seekers, nth career transition advice seekers etc
They are all around us but they are no where
