Work backwards from all the key metrics you want to know about the feature- these give a sense of what needs to be measured what input events are needed. Also ask what are questions you and your senior stakeholders will have on the feature - whether doing well, bad or not sure. Again work your instrumentation events backwards from these questions. Other tactical points like how you name them, adding param values to existing event etc (ex: tracking from which page you performed the X click event ), these can be looked on online, chatgpt and comes with familiarity of exciting events and where you are gonna be playing around with them. As a PM you should be able to write these events.
