I'll go first.
   My favourite anime has been Naruto till date.
I watched Naruto when I was in 11th std based on recommendation from my friend. I was hooked to it within 1st 5 episodes.
    Naruto has been the anime that truly affected me and I could internalize and idolize the life. Naruto's journey and all characters journey through life was so realistic, it showed real emotions.  
   The music by Toshiro Masuda across the series has been the highlight! I have literally cried with specific music being played during emotional scenes. 
   Naruto has taught me things like -
1. Don't back out from doing hard things
2. Have self belief, don't give in to what people believe you can do
3. Always and Always push yourself
4. Suffer through failures and humiliations by having positive perspective towards life
5. Life is so much better even with sheer will power and hardwork. (Rock Lee is an amazing character who gained respect of people)

Found this post on Instagram and it hit like bullet. Music has been with us through good and bad.
But the songs which have tided us, also have this weird power to take us back. 

Which one is yours?

I'll go first -

1. KSHMR & Lost Stories - Bombay Dreams
It is beautifully crafted video dealing with shame in pursuing something others despise or make fun of. The music video makes me smile at around the end

2. Passenger - Let her Go
The lyrics are so damn pure gold. It's so common sense but truly hits you especially when you are by yourself and it just sinks in! Love every line of the song and I think the lyrics are relatable for lot of people

3. Ritviz - Sage
Beautiful video, talks about acceptability and how people are threatened by something they don't understand and how world could use more love and it would be such an amazing place!

I was focusing on my career and just working - suddenly realised I don't have any good friends. I quit my job, in depression right now. I am also an introvert which makes it very hard for me to go to a public gathering. I also don't smoke/drink. How do I make new friends?

How do you make friends at the age of 33?

Friends are overrated, you dont need to. If you organically bond, good enough otherwise its fine. If you are married your partner makes uo for it for the most parts. 
  
 That being said to organically bond, you need to increase the surface area meaning you need to stumble into new people to make new friends.  For people like me its just colleagues and old school/college friends. 
  
 Anyhow at 33 you dont really make friends just acquaintance so its better to rebond with your old buddies which I am sure you must have lost touch with rather than finding new ones.

God give me strength

I'm 21 m. Had a 9 months old relationship with a girl who's 6 months older. It was the best 9 months of my life. We connected on so many levels that I never thought would happen with me at such a young age. 

Recently, she broke up with me. It was not our mistake. Her mother isn't well (from a long time, and I knew that) and her last wish is to see her daughter getting married. 

Forcefully, she had to admit this and told me everything. And told me that we need to end this. 

It's been 3 weeks, and there's minimal contact between us. 

I'm a final year college student, not getting placements, too much pressure from family. I can't think about anything. Feels like all of this is eating me up. We had very secure future plans, but everything is over now. I don't know what to do. 

I try very hard to stay on track, but her thoughts are eating me up. I've started meditation, therapy and everything, but nothing is working the way I thought it would do. 

She was the one that gave me assurance that everything will be fine. Her presence was the most peaceful thing I had, but now, there's nothing. 

Help me, please. 

PS: please don't judge me the way I am. I'm trying to be normal as much as possible but nothing's working.

This question is to people who are in their late 20s or older.


Life shows its ups and downs to pretty much everyone. And when you are younger, living with adverse situations that impact your mental peace and health, paving your way becomes difficult. All this can lead to uncertainty about future, can make you doubt yourself and your decisions, or can make you think whether you would be able to make something of yourself or not.


If you ever felt like this, how did you handle it? What would you tell your younger self about how to navigate through these situations and feelings?

How did you figure things out?

Does this happen with you that when you listen/watch songs and it makes you remember those good times (or harsh times) with your partner or someone you were in relationship with.
This feeling of getting broken again, tears run down from your eyes. (Damn I miss you - waali feeling). But you have already moved on.
Many Anime Films - Your Name, 5 cm per second, I want to eat your pancreas. Makes it even more hard to watch because the feelings come out more strongly then.

But this is what being a human means right. We know we cant be together anymore but those feelings are soo precious and personal.

PS - I love to hurt myself by listening to those songs and movies again and again. Reason being, I never want to forget those feelings ever in my life.
